Funny how different countries would influence people's perceptions. Where I'm from (southeast Asia) it's really common to wear 916 gold jewellery. We wear it everyday. Rings, bracelets, necklaces, earrings, you name it. Even children wear 916 gold pieces. Yes, they're durable. I only take off my bracelets when I'm doing cardio exercises. Don't worry about it. If anything, I prefer 916 because I know I won't get allergic reactions using them. They're also good investments cause hey, high purity gold!
Beautiful pieces. Hoping to upgrade my 14k pieces to 22k later. Just got my gf an 18k rope chain from HRC but I don’t even have any 18k pieces for myself yet. 😅 Thanks for sharing!
I've noticed how lighting has something to do with the appearance of gold. I've seen where 14 karat looks really washed out under certain lighting conditions, even though it is already a pale yellow. On the other end of the spectrum, 22 karat and 24 karat sometimes looks quite dark or orange in certain lighting conditions, but at the same time, it's a beautiful rich bright yellow. I am interested in getting a 22-karat piece, and I look forward to seeing how rich a 22 karat piece is in person. It is hard to tell on video, you're right. However, I also work at a warehouse, and I do wonder how a 22-karat piece would hold up. I also love 18 karat. It's something to consider.
If you had to ask me I would choose 19.2k (80% gold) or 22k!! 24k I would only ever buy that if I was like really rich to have a super thick and heavy chain. That would be so sick imo.
@@Snotroggel453lol what? I think the complete opposite a man shouldn’t wear anything under 18k it’s too bright and more gold purity shows wealth and class and many cultures.
I love gold! I enjoyed this video. Very informational. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!

The people who speak on 24K not being viable as a daily jewelery piece are usually people who can't afford it.
You are so cheap
In india any ornaments usually it’s 22k!
I just got a 24k piece. I love the color. Does 22k have the same color as 24k? It’s hard to tell not in person.
pretty much, i have a 22k chain and it is a very beautiful colour
Yes it’s similar

Ive had 2 gold chains high purity 21 and 22 karat i never take the 21karat off; but I wear both every day.
in Estonia we have only 14k on sale, havent seen above that
Same here in Ukraine. Lots of 14k, and really limited amount of 18k. Ended up going to a jeweller for a custom piece.
Where do u get your 24k in United States?
Menē is the only place I’ve found with 24k gold. Very fair pricing. Malabar Gold and Diamonds and Tanishq has 22k for a fair pricing as well
Think they got 23k in Cali and minnesota
Lucked up and found a "GEM" with this channel...I'm subbing 4sho!
i’m here because i saw that one tiktok and it turns out it you’re the same person
What karat would you wear daily if you could only choose one for the rest of your life ?
