Scotty Pippen Jr. is definitely a good find for the Grizz. He can definitely be the backup pg to Ja next season. He shoots efficiently, effectively finds the open man, takes care of the ball well, and can defend at times. As a Grizz fan who is trying to be optimistic in this injury-riddled year, I'm enjoying his play a lot. Let's go Grizz!
With time, he can be more than a backup but that would be fine to get a regular contract. I have watched every game he has been in for the Grizz this year and he is showing high court intelligence, can score, dish assists and is accumulating 3-4 steals a night. He is also defending well and getting better from 3 Pt. line. He has had an unnaturally hard time convincing the NBA of his worth. Scores over 20 pts. per game at Vanderbilt and then in the G-league. Now, due to lots of injuries to others, he is finally getting his chance and is succeeding, unlike some other former NBA stars son's who do not appear at all to be NBA Level.
He's a real one. If the Grizz doesn't keep him, someone will snatch him up.
