Everything looked and sounded so good!! I appreciate that you give us a description of the look, smell, texture, as well as taste of these snacks....even if I can’t try these snacks, I feel like I can imagine how they taste by your great comments. Oh - and Satoshi’s look of happiness and delight after the first bite of something yummy is so wonderful. Thanks for sharing and Merry Christmas to you both (and Justin too! 🐶) and to anyone else who happens to read this comment! ❄️🎄⛄️🎅💚❤️
My favourite area of Kanagawa is teh Shonan area and Kamakura. Love the atmophere there. I think the tea and the gumies are my favourites of this box, and the shoyu rice crackers.
Hi boys! I’m super excited to receive this box! Especially, because some items come in triple, so that means that I can try the snacks, along with my son and his partner. Thank you so much for introducing us to Bokksu! Everything about it, is wonderful!
Only just got this box at this point, but it was worth the wait; Fell in love with the garlic chips and curry potato snacks. But the lemon gummies were a real treat too. Hopefully we won't be almost a month behind on the boxes here in the US too much longer.
We ordered the sesame oil rice crackers from Bokksu after seeing this review. They came very quickly from Japan and were delicious! Happy New Year Year, guys!
Without a doubt, the gummies from Japan are the best. The flavours are so intense and just like the fruits. I buy them from China Town from the Japanese floor of the market. My favourite is the peach 🍑
Woooweee..loved all the delicious snacks you tried.I enjoy watching this kind of videos especially with both of you in it!😋😊👍🏼But.....at the end i can always see your puppy appear.please showcase your furbaby next time, include him/her if u have to.That willl be doubly cute & appreciated.🥰 I just don't want your furbaby looks like he was left out & ignored.thank you shinichi & satoshi! 😊And Merry Christmas & Happy New Year you guys!😘🤩🤪🎄🎊
I love watching the snack vids! I try to find what I can here at Donki! Have you every had Butter Butler Financier? it's the BEST thing I think I found in Japan! I can't wait to get my hands on it again someday soon! xoxo
Shinichi’s definitely not wrong. The flavor profiles and intensity of candy in the U.S. simply cannot compare to its Japanese counterparts (not that there’s any actual comparison). I’ve always had a bit of a sweet tooth, but after being reintroduced to Japanese candy as an adult, I can no longer consume the garbage we have on offer here. I have definitely spent a small fortune just on snacks and confections from your beautiful country 🖤
Hi there! I love your videos and am subbed to all of your channels. Just one note that you might not be aware of - in some cultures putting food up to your nose and "sniffing" before you consume it is considered very rude. you can enjoy the aroma from a distance of your plate etc as you enjoy your meal. Many European countries as well as the Usa consider sniffing really off limit.
Whenever I have found a new (to me) Japanese snack or candy that I fall in love with, I always want to share with someone else who loves these things as I do. But, when I see the very snack(s) that I love being reviewed by Shinichi and Satoshi, and their reactions are similar to mine, I feel that it somehow validates my existence and makes me wholly appreciate the shared experience. May the new year bring joy and happiness to you all!♡
They do! I bought the three month subscription (with their coupon code) in mid November. It took about three weeks to get here (Florida). My roommate loved it. This box they're reviewing should be here next week, I think.
I so hate covid. I always go to Okinawa every year and Osaka. The Christmas stream was great. I do keep in touch with my Sensei in Osaka throughout this pandemic. Stay safe!
Have you guys seen UA-cam channel "Japan Questions Answered" with Dustin and Akina? It would make my New Year to see a collaboration. Being non traditional couples in Japan I think it would be a very interesting collaboration. I have no idea how far you are from each other or anything but you are some of my favorite UA-cam personalities and I know it would make me smile. Happy Holidays to everyone and your friends and families and be safe!! If you actually do a collaboration I'm going to need a shout out. Just saying. 😀
wow, everything looks so delicious! ^-^ i'd love to try the calbee garlic kata-age chips since i love garlic. i also enjoy japanese gummies more than the american ones. i haven't had japanese gummies in a while, but i remember enjoying the chewy texture a lot! when shinichi-san said the caramel ring cake should be savored slowly, i couldn't help watch satoshi-san gobble it up quickly haha! i probably would have done the same since it looked irresistible :D i'm very tempted to subscribe to bokksu after this video, but i'll have to wait until next year since i spent a lot this holiday season hehe
It's not really fair to compare curated Japanese snacks to the ones you easily find in the US. There are great candies here, just not commercially available unfortunately.
I like it very much that you are streaming and uploading more over the holidays. Domo arigato gozaimasu !

Merry Christmas Shinichi, Satoshi, Justin and a Happy New Year!!!
Love you guys and I love Bokksu too.
When you eat something that makes you feel more hungry, it has whet your appetite. It means to sharpen or hone your hunger. :3
Happy Holidays!!!

Japanese snacks are so healthy huh. jealous.
Happy Holiday Shinichi and Satoshi!!!
This sold me. I'll have to check out the snack box. May as well get a taste of Japan before I get there.
The snack game in the United States is beyond lacking, as is all of our food really.

It doesn't help that American's send in candies like Palmer and Sixlets either. Yuck.
In hindsight, I probably should have skipped this box. Everything else seems fine, but I am not a fan of Camembert cheese.
