The inscription on the back of the car perfectly reflects its qualities, despite the smaller size, the model very realistically overcomes all terrain obstacles 💪. Great shots, good movie inserts with predators in the sky 😉👏💯
👍👍👍👍👍
It sure looks good for this small a scale, but the description was the best part for me. Great sense of humor 😁
Hi Steve, very cool, you found some excellent scale terrain for this little 'un! She does look pretty, but reading the description think I'll give it a miss! Sounds like a lot of effort to get it performing as you'd like it (a bit like the CC01!!! 🤣). Thanks for warning us about the sloppy Slopmaster 9000 transmission! At least the birds let it be and maybe little Tarquin did get a lift home, albeit in a now RWD Landie! 😬👍
I'm pretty happy with my CC-01 and its Facepalm 3000 Technology now... mostly because I've blanked a lot of the 'But WHY?' aspects of it from my mind now. 😎 I don't mind that this RC4WD doesn't really perform either, but it will need some driveshafts not designed by an idiot at some point.
Hahahaha love the story in the description, hope Tarquinius is okay, FMS for the win.
😁 I like to think Tarquin is still waiting to be picked up and taking the time to tearfully reflect on the terrifying brittleness of everything he thought was true, but in reality he's probably just merrily knifed a few tramps and is sleeping warmly inside one right now. And then, one day, Tarquin will be PM.
But yes, FMS for the win. 🤣👍
Great looking D90. Disguises the small scale well. Sounds like a lot of work though. Funny about the buzzards, will have to watch out for that...😁
Had me 100% fooled thinking this was a 1/10 at the beginning until I reread the title. Hard to believe I missed this one four months ago. Hoping all is well.
I'm good thanks. I really must get some decent driveshafts to replace the easily-separated stock ones and take this out again.
You got a TRX4M yet? )
No... I was waiting for them to do an old Bronco/Blazer body, but then the FMS one came out. Now I'm torn as that's got portals (I like the clearance but not the unscale look).
All the faults you have listed are absolutely spot on, especially the transmission slop which is inexcusable for the price of this little RTR. But despite all that they look dam good, and for some unexplainable reason I love mine. Bit like the CC-01 really. Excellent video Steve. Enjoy your weekend my friend 🙂👍🏼
ps, put some heatshrink over the o-rings on the driveshafts. 👍🏼👍🏼
Couldn't agree more - I really like this little truck and (at least now) the CC-01 too. They've both got some real character you can get out with a bit of work. Bit late for the heatshrink unfortunately... if I can find a suitably small replacement pin I'll do it though. 😎👍
