Around P8 billion worth of government’s education subsidies, meant to benefit underprivileged students, had been granted to non-poor learners who enrolled in private schools, Sen. Sherwin Gatchalian revealed on Wednesday.
Gatchalian, who is also the chairperson of the Senate Committee on Basic Education, said there were “unclear guidelines” in the implementation of the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Government Assistance to Students and Teachers in Private Education (GASTPE) that resulted in non-poor students availing of the education subsidies.
GASTPE is intended to decongest public schools by subsidizing the tuition fee of students who apply to private schools, Gatchalian said.
(If you are a private school, I will give you, let's say, 40 slots. If no one applies, you can take anyone because there's already an allotment for you.)(So, what happens is you've been given an allotment and no poor person applies, only the non-poor apply.)
“The program is defective," Gatchalian said, estimating that almost P8 billion went to non-poor students. Sara Duterte is the head of DepEd therefore this failure transcends to her incompetency in handling any position in the Government. sara dutae is really useless.

One form of such threats is the act of red-tagging, acknowledged by international organizations as a form of harassment and intimidation. Labelling a person “red” often comes with frequent surveillance, direct harassment, and in some instances, eventual death.
As being associated with communists or terrorists makes the red-tagged person a target of vigilantes, paramilitary groups, or even State agents, it is easy to understand why a person may fear that being red-tagged puts their life and security at risk. This is what your idol is doing -red tagging their political enemy. Is that what you called useful actions. You are nuts.
Duterte is manipulative and only rely on deceit, fearmongering, and use regressive mind control tactics in order to have and keep followers.

Almost all of duterte supporters uses alias and fake dummy accounts. They are uneducated, fanatical, arrogant, immoral, immature and ignorant to the reality of what is happening in the country. Their words are almost all the same, parroting thier political idol's words. They are always using the so called drug war effort as mask for the criminal act they commit like red tagging, name defamation and others. Ddshits Uses reverse psychology as if they are right when in fact they are in the wrong. Really a great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep. Shame on these uneducated Ddshit supporters who are just there because they are benefiting as most of the ddshits commenting works in the municipality of davao. Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) have check on reports that some government employees in Davao City were using illegal drugs.
Barbers in a statement on Monday raised concerns about reports that 37 personnel of the Davao City’s Public Safety and Security Office tested positive for drug use, given that the city is the hometown of the illegal drug trade’s supposed number one enemy, former President Rodrigo Duterte. This is ridiculous since Ddshits supporters are endorsing drug war. Shame on the Ddshits supporters and their idol.
