Took cues from our collaborative speed video (ua-cam.com/video/Xx1njgEzTFk/v-deo.html) How do I cram it all into a small amount of time while still giving the content value.
The display window functionality was already there on the PET in Basic 4.0. Just with some control codes (there were no escape codes yet back then): chr$(15) and chr$(143)
I did not know that! Thanks for sharing and now I want to fire up my PET and give it a shot, or at least VICE…stand by…It worked! Very cool.

28:30 I thought inserting a C64 cartridge would force the computer to use the C64 core (if available on the SD card) instead of make it "GO 64" with the Mega65 core. Am I wrong?
Thanks for the kind words. We'll spend more time on cores in a later chapter. Since at this point in time in the manual we wouldn't have the C64 Core installed, inserting the cart will take us to GO64 mode but as you state, there is an option now on the MEGA≡65 to have the core the default C64 mode. More on this topic in a later chapter. Great question.
You can (with the 096 release) set the C64 cartridge flag on the core level. This will force THAT core to start when a C64 cart is detected.
I'll share how to do this in a later chapter. Thanks for the reminder.
