7:37 I find it interesting how he calls the security bots mosquitos, while I heard somewhere that some of the sounds the bots make are based on mosquitos. Nice shot on that splicer btw
You should create a top 10 best creepy moments in the Bioshock series and a another top 10 worst to best characters in BioShock and can u create a new origin story about bill mcdonagh from the book pretty soon
As I understand it the first game had a limited budget which limited how many people could actually be shown. In fact only three characters in the game had unique character models- Sander Cohen, Andrew Ryan, and Frank Fontaine's boss form. This probably contributed to the lack of citizens in the game, as they already had to work around those limitations for other characters. Tenenbaum, for instance, was played by a retextured splicer model, which is why she only appears in person twice- one instance seen from a distance, the other only seen in silhouette, with the rest limited to being a voice on a radio. I can't say if Bioshock 2 had the same issues, though it did have a slightly larger budget. Bioshock: Infinite did seem to do more to actually depict citizens of Columbia, though. We didn't get to know very many of them in huge depth but they occasionally found ways of impacting the plot. Maybe the new City in the next Bioshock game will have more room to develop its citizens.
One character that I was sad about getting cut was BioShock Infinite's Saltonstall. I was really looking forward to fighting him, and then it turned out he wasn't even in the finished game, except as mentioned background character and a scalp that doesn't match his earlier appearance. That was pretty disappointing for me back then. Also I heard that the guy who played the early voice of Booker DeWitt also played Garret the Thief in the classic Thief games, and then later voiced Nick Valentine in Fallout 4 and Corvo Attano in Dishonored 2
I will like to see some of theses characters be in the next BioShock game if there not taking place in rapture but I'll like to see them in the near future
Stanley Poole was an interesting/good character in the game, though what they cut would have been an interesting connection and added a bit more to/changed his backstory. It’s interesting how his personality changed a bit between versions of his character.
A remaster for bioshock 2 is really needed, the cut content of that game has so much potential, it still a great game it just incredibly short just overshadowed by first and third game, the plot is simple but had so much to flesh out with characters and world
I think that the NPC’s that are just trying to survive would of given Bioshock more to get the player involved than just the audio diaries. Maybe to have a NPC here and there throw you out because they are just trying to survive by hiding. Or also have one NPC get tired of hiding and run out only to get shot by a robot or a splicer. That would also give more motivation to the player to get to Andrew Ryan before more people wound up dead that were just trying to survive
Oh man, imagine what would happen if Fontaine actually got his hands on Suchong's tear machine, probably yet another thing Elizabeth was trying to prevent from happening. I'm not sure if he would use it solely for going undercover for information as you proposed, though. At best, I'd imagine Fontaine using it in a similar fashion to Jeremiah Fink, observing other universes to find ideas he can then plagiarize for money. Maybe even worse in his case- I could see Fontaine actually travelling to another universe, killing an inventor, and then stealing their invention to claim as his own. More likely, though, I'd imagine Fontaine would start to get some ideas about expanding his influence. After taking over Rapture it would probably seem pretty exciting for a man like him to suddenly have access to other universes that he can exploit. So put simply, if Fontaine ever got hold of that technology, I'm not sure he would just use it to learn more about Booker or Elizabeth. More likely he'd be turning into another Comstock.
@@TheBioshockHub He was working with Suchong, but they never said if he understood the full extent of his research. He also didn't seem to know who Elizabeth was, which would seemingly rule out the idea that he once tried to get information on her. However, assuming he knew of Suchong's tear machine, or at least had some idea that Suchong was working on something big, I could see Fontaine viewing it as a future goal. He doesn't seem like the kinda guy who would stop at taking over Rapture if an even bigger opportunity presented itself. It could therefore be possible that he was planning on exploiting the tears once he had control of Rapture. If he went undercover in Columbia, maybe it was more for research purposes. As in he was trying to get an idea of what other universes had that could be used to his advantage, potential competition, or obstacles he may need to overcome.
Wait did you say something about a mad toy maker cut from infinite? That would have been so cool. Sure it probably wouldn’t have fit the story but it would have been dope.
Hey buddy Erik, how about the slug bug daddy will have gloves instead of hooks, so we can use plasmids in bioshock 4 and the slug will reveal itself while the big daddy is stunned.
Yeah bro I personally love your videos and they deserve way more views for how well made they are, I love the Bioshock content but have you ever considered branching the more scripted and edited non let's play videos into other non Bioshock related content. Just an idea to maybe get the wheels going I'm sure you thought ab it but seriously the content is great man.
I haven't even finished the video yet but the Slug Bug Daddy got my attention. I think maybe they could've revisited it and used it as like, a way for the Big Daddy to be more connected to the sisters? They could've made the slugs in the Big Daddy the ADAM slugs, and the sisters are infected with an ADAM slug in them which makes them the way they are... idk if that makes any sense lmao but I feel like maybe they could've done something with that.
Oh yeah and I forgot I think BioShock 2 would have been good if it had more moral choices to attack or defend the random civilians around and after helping them to take what they give you or take more and be evil
What I would’ve done to have had a little bit of that gene tonic in the past under similar circumstances 😊 I did electrocute a police officer a few years ago but that was 100% accidental, truly. I still find it funny but feel bad about it to this day 😣 (No permanent harm done just a shock.)
I love Bioshock 1 and 2 but I don't like infinite had no Real choices at all and all your choices were meaningless the trailer for BioShock infinite was the game was going to have choices but it ended up not Also I like the original look of Comstock with the black hair
@@TheBioshockHub I feel the same way too I still think about did I make the right choice with Alexander I believe he should be dead because that's what his original self wants but the new self is terrified and does that count as murder then if another self doesn't

Good! I'm glad.
The team behind BioShock is so goddamn talented! All of these concepts are amazing.

Me too, it would've been sick.
In the bioshock infinite demo most of the stuff from that demo was not in the full game
I know, it's honestly a damn shame.
TheBioshockHub damn straight
There were going to be more Vigors for a start. I dunno why they cut Weapon Slave. It would've made for an awesome Vigor.

Hey man I wish that u showed a lot more of the concept art for some of the characters because all of those sound awesome
A lot of the mentioned Concepts in these videos don't have imagery, which absolutely suck. So I do apologize for that.

Now that you mention Stephen Russel... If I am correct, he voiced Garret in the original Thief games.

Why was Rapture called that? Was it an obscure word in the dictionary? (English or Russian) Was it something special to Ryan? Etc.
