Man, I just needed you to go one step further. Lol! My clock is dirty on the inside of it and I can't figure out how to get it out without breaking stuff. I'm a lifetime Ford guy working on my wife's Navigator, in other words, a bull in a china shop.
Thanks for the video. I have to take that console out and see what's going on with the bottom 9 buttons not illuminating. Has anyone else encountered buttons not lighting up and how you fixed it.
How many connectors are on the back of the HVAC unit? I had to replace blend door actuator and now mine isn't working, curious if I lost a connector somewhere behind my dash
Hey the three plugs on the back do you know what order they go I'm and where? Lol I got the actuator replaced but did not pay attention when I unplugged the three small plugs. There seems to be five spots that they fit into but only to actually have prongs in them.
you definitely seem to know what you're doing can you please tell me why my 2007 Navigator is experiencing on and off problems with its navigation system and radio. it's almost like there is a loose wire or something it goes on and off even when I'm sitting still a few days ago it started just a couple of times and it progressively got worse now it hardly comes on it all but when it does come on it works for about 30 seconds before cutting out again. Could you possibly tell me what it could be I've heard and needs to be possibly reset with battery cable taken off and put back on is that true?
geFF soLO It could be something as simple as loose connection on the back of the unit. It's hard to say but more than likely if it's been giving you problems for awhile now its more than likely on its way out.
You did not provide information on how to disconnect all the connectors on the back of the radio like the antenna cable which is a bitch to disconnect for first timers.

Did you ever figure out how to get that clock cover off?
You're the best man down to the point. Save me a lot of time

Hi Brandon, Is the board/speaker that controls the chime there behind the radio? If not, do you know where I can find it and remove it?
