- Welp if you're looking for what's it's actually like to live in NYC then you've come to the right place. DISCLAIMER... my experience here is just ONE example of the average lifestyle in NYC. There are SO many others, especially for actual born and raised new yorkers living in the bronx/brooklyn/queens etc. Plus it took me 4 years to be able to afford living alone here... where I started was so different than how it is now. ANYWAYS I hope you enjoy, and good luck if you're moving to new york city this year!

DISCLAIMER (from the description box!): my experience here is just ONE example of the average lifestyle in NYC. There are SO many others, especially for actual born and raised new yorkers living in the bronx/brooklyn/queens etc. Plus it took me 4 years to be able to afford living alone here... where I started was so different than how it is now. This is easily the most realistic channel for any working class outsider who wants to move to NY. Born and raised in Midwest but have visited family in NY all my life. Cost of living and anxiety has always made me scared to move there but 5 years ago my sibling did it and he’s still there with a experience similar to yours. I asked him advice on moving there and he said “all you can do is just get here and figure it out as you go cause you cant prep for everything”. He also told me consider parts of NJ too. So at 36, single with no dependents I think I may finally make the jump. Your channel is easing my anxiety
Living in NYC 🎉 I’m done living w cold weather. I’m ready for some Caribbean weather ☀️
I Just came across your channel and love how real you are. I was born and raised in Brooklyn and I never ever thought I would leave NY, But with the cost of living and being a single mom of 2, I just couldn’t do it anymore. I moved to the suburbs in Jersey last year and I love the peace and quiet. My advice for anyone wanting to live in NYC is have a substantial savings and job lined up if possible. Most landlords require a security deposit and broker fee on top of the first months rent so be prepared for that. I really do love NY and made so many great memories, but it’s just not the same for me anymore as a native. And ladies; be safe! Carry a weapon at all times and be aware of your surroundings♥️
Loving your channel. I watched your step by step as to how you started n then ended up liv8ng blissfully alone in your studio. I took screenshots and notes. Ive been exiled upstate since 2010.
HELL BENT on moving back home (Brooklyn born) within the next 1-3 yrs. I CAN DO THIS!
Ive had to and on purpose left many times. Allllways come back home. Loving your super realistic stories. Yoire really helping ppl. Youre helping motivate me for sure. Also with the running stuff.
❤❤❤
I don’t know how I ended up here but I’m glad I did. It’s nice to see someone on on YT in their 30s that’s not married with kids and still feels like they’re figuring themselves out. Can’t be bothered to cook but also trying to take care of themselves. I relate girl
Yesss you understand! No need to rush in life I guess! glad you found my channel
I had a 30s crisis and moved to LA from the UK at 32. All of my Facebook/instagram feeds are weddings, engagements and babies, and I’m here wondering where all the good men are and eating the quickest thing to cook for dinner…
YT brought me here. And I stayed. 😀
There's this show, you might've heard of it. It's called Sex and the City.
I just turned 30.I have no idea how, since I am 18😂😂but,I moved back to Germany, and I have no idea of the next step😂😂
"I miss the days I felt so much excitement for what was to come in life"
wow, that kinda hit pretty hard...really loved that line
35yo single girl here… feel the same😂
So true!
I felt that.
I’m a new sub and love your content! 🙂 keep it comin!
39, married, and definitely feel this. I miss my ability to be surprised by people and life. Now it's work to remain curious.
You managed to built a sustainable life for yourself in one of the most exciting, competitive and expensive cities in the world. It might not feel that way right now but you belong to the lucky ones who have a foot in the door in this beautifully harsh place called New York City. While thousands people every year give up and move to Texas or Florida, you're still giving this a proper go. It's a great accomplishment and I'm sure this phase of your life will be a launchpad for amazing things to come. In The Big Apple or somewhere else.
You always leave the most encouraging comments, I look forward to them every time!! Thanks for the perspective
It’s true though. Also being alone not having the mental support of a partner or kids can feel lonely sometimes.
You’re quite good at finding hobbies and filling your existence with fun things. It might feel repetitive. But I still think you‘re doing a good jobby. 🎉
@@daviddaviedavidson believe you me, kids don’t always mentally support .
I absolutely love this comment ❤ xx
I feel you! I’m in my mid thirties and definitely feel like I don’t get as excited about life and things going on in my life as I used to. Granted I am married and have two kids (they are amazing and so fun but can also suck the life out of you) so it’s a bit different but I get ya! I think you are awesome and so cute and very relatable! Thank you so much for keeping it raw! So many New York City lifestyle yt videos are really good but just so polished and don’t show the real real life stuff. You let us see you as your vulnerable self and that’s really scary to do on the internet nowadays! People can be really mean when they hide behind a computer/phone screen and you don’t know them. I’ve wanted to do vlogs about my life but I’ve felt my life is so boring and I’m horrible on camera so I’ve been too afraid to even try 😅
I am a 68 year old retiree. I wish I was young again and could do exactly what you are doing. Don't worry and try not to stress. It will all work out in the end. Give yourself credit for all you have accomplished. Relax and enjoy each day :)
❤️❤️❤️
I am 64, married, I have bonus kids and I have grandkids. They don’t live here, so I see them once or twice a year. My pups were my children for years, but the last 2 have passed, and my husband doesn’t want any more because he wants to travel. I don’t feel fulfilled with life, and I’m trying to figure out how I can do more, and feel better about things. I think that many people are feeling lonely, and I think that is a side effect of Covid. We were disconnected from each other, and we haven’t felt just right since. We didn’t see our grandchildren for over 2 years. FaceTime isn’t as good as being together and getting and giving hugs. I think it’s wonderful that you are making a life for yourself!!! In New York!!! You are so brave! I live in the Midwest and I can’t imagine living in such a big city!
Me too Kathy! I'm getting closer to you in age and sometimes I just wish I could go back and live with more of a sense of adventure! I love that Chelsea is genuine. I wish I took more calculated risks when I was younger because it's harder now. I have a few health limitations and being disabled makes for a tight budget. I would love to relocate to a city with more opportunities, make some new friends etc. But it's hard to take that leap when you currently are in a safe secure and subsidized rental in exchange for trying to find an affordable apartment in the current housing crunch!
@loridontcaretotellu6497 Hey girls, I gotta chime in here. I'm gonna be 65 in December and have 90% decided I have to move to NYC. I just discovered her You Tube channel. I too am "disabled" or Challenged as I prefer to think of myself. I am going to find a way to Port my Fed. Section 8. It will be one of the scariest things I've ever done but I've done lot's of scarry stuff. I have no "tribe" in Hawai'i. I am all alone out here and bored/restless after 6 years. Between 5-7 years people either permanently commit or leave. You can take the lady out of the East Coast, but I guess you can't take the East Coast out of the lady. So this maybe my last biggest adventure. Faith conquers fear every day in my world so this should be no different. I want to write a book about it, Conquering New York. I just refuse to be benched. When anyone even me tells me, "No, what are you nuts? You can't do that!" It's always been my motivation to say, "The Light is Green!" I don't want any regrets at 85, for what I didn't do.
I think what’s cool is just honoring the journey and the normalcy of being human. We need that. It’s awesome.
Honouring the journey.
I'll remember this next time I feel like quitting on everything.
I understand the loneliness. This was a gorgeous video. Thank you for being so vulnerable and raw with us. I want to give you a big internet hug from my small town on the other side of the ocean. It's difficult, but it's a beautiful journey.
internet hug well received and right back at ya!
You are so refreshing. Please don't ever put a filter on your self talk. Keep being open and honest with/about yourself. You are like all the rest of us - just doing the best we can every day.
❤️
Hooray! Finally another person in their 30s that doesn't perfectly manicure their life! I've binged a ton of your videos now. I'm so grateful to have stumbled across your videos - genuinely feels nice to have someone to actually relate to.
As a fellow 30-something, I found myself relating and laughing throughout the entire vlog. Please never change. 😊
🥹❤️
I just stumbled on to this video and you are my soul saver!! I’ll be 47 soon, my daughter is 23 and she lives with her fiancé which means I’m living with my dog and cat. Watching and listening to you live YOUR life the way you do is sooooo refreshing for me. Actually seeing a legit adult admit to their ho-hum life, sleeping in to the very last minute in the morning and admitting that living with potential instead of achieving big things that they KNOW they can achieve again has truly helped me feel so much better about my life. I am sending you million “Thank you”’s and a shit ton of huge hugs💜💜💜
I never really watch vlogs, but yours just hit different. I live in a big city and am alone most of the time, so seeing you post a new video just makes me think "hey, let's see what Chelsea is up to" and my mood gets better instantly. Thank you! :)
🥰🥰🥰
I’m married and yet my life feels like yours 90% of the time. It’s tough living, even when you have awareness of what you should be grateful for. I hope you find peace where you’re at, bc we’re just doing our best ❤
I’m a 29 year old male. Lost my long term GF and job in the same year. Hanging on and hoping my 30s will be my best years. This video gave me some comfort, seeing a real person dealing with relatable life things.
It'll get better.
I’m almost 60 and I can really relate to you! I have a habit of not taking care of myself, struggling to eat right, self sabotage, and more. But from now until the end I will always think of brushing my teeth as cleaning my skeleton! 😂
🥰🥰🥰
the talk about being scared of your full potential is so real and it really hit me too. It's so refreshing to hear someone else going through something that I'm going through myself. Thank you for these videos
Dear Chelsea, someone needs to tell you this: you are a comedy genius and you're not even aware of that!
🥹😍😘
Excellent and your sense of Humer hahaha thank you
Will you help me when I get shifted to Westchester in new york
Well...for what it's worth, I'm a mid 50's solo Mom and I think you have accomplished amazing things by your mid 30's! I would have NEVER had the guts to move to NYC. No one has this trip figured out, at any age! Peace and light💜
Same age- same thought!
Subscribed purely for not editing out the clothes, pan from yesterday and you eating cheese out of the bag. ❤
When she slowly pushed the clothes from the bed to the floor….sheepishly, hoping no one judged her…..I felt that.
I totally relate to the feeling of self sabotage not to reach my full potential and not making the actual sacrifices to reach my goals. It's so frustrating!! You're inspiring me to just get at it with grace for myself!
I am so glad I found your channel. I live alone in Los Angeles, I was relocated for my job. 12:16 I relate so hard, i’ll walk around random spots trying to find what to do. Having no friends no one to call. But! I am very grateful to be where I am :) you’re awesome
💓💓💓
Your videos are so more real, than other NYC, you come off so genuine!! I’m a fan.
I am so proud of you. I just found you on UA-cam, and I truly appreciate how brave and genuine you are, in a world full of fake people. You are so refreshing. Keep up the good work and you will find your motivation, faith, and community of support. ❤️
thank you Debbie!!
I just wanted to say thank you so much for posting this type of content - there's a lot of people (myself fully included) who can relate to this and realise they aren't alone in how they live, think or feel.
It's so easy to falsely compare yourself to the unrealistic standards of what you see online, so this is appreciated more than you know
Just found your channel and I am so impressed by your site, you are so real and not the chirpy, chirpy ones who try to be so bubbly and live what seems an unreasonable life! 25 years old and making 75 to 100k, working from home and playing in a fairy land! I'm sure some do, but too many to be realistic. I am 76 and once lived my best life in Manhattan, 19 yes to 22yrs, 2 roommates in a beautiful prewar building, large, actually very large. 34th between 9th and 10th. With a hughe lobby and an elevator "man", 9 to 5 day job, trying g to model which i did too, but not of the level I wanted. Greatest experience of my life. Everyone should experience living on their own for some period time. Love that you are honest about your life. Love your videos, binging at the moment.
I am living in a small town in Bavaria/Germany and I feel like I could do the same vlog. Also in my 30ies, no kids and living the same life and I don't care if anyone understands that, but I love this life.
❤❤❤❤
Minute 11:18
Look at those buildings. Old and new side by side added over time. I enjoy those strolls through the city with you💜
I ❤ you so much! I am also a single lady, 40, in Minneapolis and I feel like you GET me. I just had my own mental breakdown and you are helping me climb my way out of it. Seeing that other single women my age also struggle with work burnout and loneliness and trying to stay healthy and sane makes me feel seen and loved. Thank you, thank you! I can’t wait to see your new place!
sending hugs your way!! much love xx
You are WAY too hard on yourself! I lived in NYC for 10 years and I get it (the struggle). You seem like a nice, honest, pretty, hard working woman! Start celebrating the cool lady you clearly are! Spend more time appreciating the wonderful life you have and what you have done! Get out there and have some fun!
I’m 25 with 3 young children. I’m married and also live in NYC. I loved this video for the realness of it, no fake voice, no pretending. Just real and raw. Thank you for that, I’ve subscribed and look forward to seeing more of you
Thanks :)
I love your channel so much and have been watching older videos recently to “catch up”. I relate to “being afraid of your own success” and thank you for putting that into words for me. You’re a gem and I hope you don’t forget that ❤️
I really love your videos. 💗 I'm a "born and raised" New Yorker from Brooklyn. So watching your videos and seeing NYC from your point of view is different and actually cool. I think you're doing pretty good so far, NYC is not an easy city to live in. So much a lot of people don't know that you have to get used to. I really hope you succeed in NYC and find your niche. 💗
Continue doing your videos, your way! They are good 👍
Thanks so much!!
So much of this is my life! From the cooking to the clothes (except mine don’t go on the floor because I have animals), to the eating like sh*t or not drinking water and eating cheese out of the bag. To panicking when ordering food/drink.
For a 25 year old living alone in totally new country, your videos are superrr relatable, calming, pure perfection. I was in NYC for last 3 weeks of 2022, and I am still not over it. There is something magical, attractive, mysterious about it. I will live here one day, I hope. Anyways, cheers.
I live for the calm chaos in this video, so so much insightful chaos I love it
❤️❤️❤️
Its been a rocky start of the yr for me too and my siblings and some friends I know, hopefully it picks up for everyone, crossing my fingers, hang in there, one day at a time!
can only go up from here!! hang in there too, sending good vibes your way ✨
I’m glad your video was recommended to me. How different our lives are - I’m a 30 something, married, mum of two living in Australia but somehow I can still relate to you. I love your personality vibe and your honesty.
Hello fellow Virgo!
If it’s any consolation, I’m 20 years older than you & still trying to figure things out! Your content is VERY relatable. Lying in bed & doomscrolling every morning instead of getting the heck out of bed is a bad habit I just can’t seem to kick! At least you’ve got things you want to achieve, such as the marathon. Keep moving towards those wants and desires, no matter how small the steps!
What a charming person. Keep running and do not worry too much about hydration. Or diet. It’s what you do 80% of the time that counts.
Oh my god! I feel exactly the same. Live alone in London, I am 41 and my life has lost all excitement. I remember how adventurous I was in my 20s and 30s but now … seems life is routine cycle. Keep positive and smiling!! 😊👍🏻
being afraid of success is so real and I'm glad to see someone talking about it
As an ex-New Yorker, I'm happy to find another vlogger who describes life in NYC. To answer your question: Put the oil in the pan first, then put the pan on the burner. If you sneak a look at the oil while you continue prep, soon (1 - 4 minutes) a change in the oil's appearance - the cookbooks call it "shimmering". You then know the oil is hot enough - get on with the cooking.
Thanks!!
so happy to have found you and your channel! it's a good reminder that building a sustainable life for yourself takes time and that there are many periods of ups and downs along the way.
I love your channel, Chelsea! It’s so raw and real. And you say the things we all are thinking and want to say. You are definitely not alone! 😊❤
I hear you with the finances.
The biggest thing that I wanted to get rid of is giving my money away to some landlord.
Some do this by helping an elderly client. They get room and food with pay. All plusses.
Others like myself, bought vans or RV'S and lived rent free.
Still others watch homes while owners go on vacation.
Your hard work doesn't need to be sucked away by landlords.
This is the biggest hurdle for most people.
Hang in there Chelsea, there’s so much ahead for you and how you’re life evolves. Everything you talked about is so so normal and natural. Take good care and keep smiling, you’re doing so well 🥰
Thanks sue :)
Agree about tiktok! I had to delete it- it was turning my brain into mush and wasting my time. I called it the "junk food of social media" lol
Also as a fellow 30-something with an electric toothbrush and water pik, it's amazing! I hated flossing so the water pik is the best thing ever
The junk food of social media omg!! Perfectly said. Oooh a water pick! Gotta try that 😎
I've had a sonicare electric tooth brush for years its a game changer, worth every penny and honestly pays for itself in the long run. Im right there with you on the whole self sabatoge thing. I'm an artist and am terrified about how im going to commit to my work and hold down a normal job due to mental health reasons. 😒😭 I'm rooting for you and we are kind of in this together lol.
Thanks for the tip!! Also rooting for you too. One day at a time we’ll get there 😌
Just saw your channel…..love your polite sarcasm…..and the fact you kinda make fun of yourself but not in a vicious way. Sarcasm and laughter is how my family deals with life….I’m the mom and grandma…almost 71….thankfully and gratefully……you seem to be very down to earth and “normal”……think I will enjoy watching your videos….but will say one thing…I’ve never wanted to live in NY…..ever….visiting ok for short time but that’s it for me! Too many people and stuff! Enjoy your life!
I'm so happy to hear that you are doing better and to see you smiling again. You don't have to feel afraid of reaching your goals because life doesn't end there. You'll get new goals after you reach the ones you have now, so go for it! You are always in my thoughts, wishing you the best life you can get.
So glad to have found you. I too live in NYC. I moved here during the pandemic when I saw rents plummeting and knew they'd never be that low again. I love your relatable vids because I am realizing that being alone is more the rule than the exception for many people and that is OKAY. My goal is 1 social engagement per week. I'll increase that to 2 or maybe even 3 when I'm not working and gong to school both full time, but for now, I've been meeting that 1 time a week goal. In the meantime I find such comfort in knowing how many things are just at my fingertips and that I'm able to partake in whenever I want to. Do I feel like learning to Salsa dance? There's probably a drop in class. Do I want to see the beach at 2pm on a Tuesday? I can hop on the Q train and in 35 minutes! Knowing I can get to the "thing" at the drop of the hat provides a sense of security and belonging that I never experienced living or visiting anywhere else.
Your relatable content is like a warm blanket for me and I love it so much. Good luck at the half marathon! You can do it.
Oh, and also -- I'm a decent cook and it really doesen't matter when you put the oil in. :) lol
At 8:00, I know exactly what you mean. When we were teenagers, we used to have a lot of expectation and dreams. Once someone leave that time, then you no longer have that same way of hoping.
You are so relatable and enjoyable to watch! Like you’re actually really real and honest and open about stuff and it makes me feel better that I’m not the only one who struggles as a 30-something in a big city.
💓💓💓
Finally a realistic living alone UA-cam channel. New subscription ❤
I perhaps watch every 20-something NYC vlogger, and stumbling upon your channel has been SO refreshing. This is a much-needed perspective here on the Tube and I can't wait to watch your channel grow.
🥹thanks Amina 💓
WOW!! Soooo many soul sisters in here!! I instantly feel a shit ton better now knowing I’m not alone. I love every single one of you soooo freakin much ❣️❣️❣️ Every single one of you is my new best friends❣️❣️Keep living your most okayest lives!!
Am a new sub....I absolutely love your honestly...its a Quality thats very rare these day...totally Connected with you...x
💓
I’m glad you said you have also had a rough start to the year... I’ve been feeling so discouraged lately. I thought I got my big break in December getting hired for a well paid full time job and it’s QUITE terrible. I’ve had toxic jobs before and told myself that I would never get into a situation like that again and well.... here we are. I’m trying to have hope that I can find something else but the job market is TOUGH right now.
so sorry that happened to you :( hang in there. hoping the year turns around for you
I appreciate the realness. Start with 1, maybe 2, things you want to work on to help you feel healthy. Be blessed with peace, sweetie!
I related to so much of this 😂 The cooking not being easy if it requires multiple cooking methods, the ending up ordering the most basic things b/c you don’t know what to get, etc. Loved it!
Bookmarking this video so you can look back to see when you when you were so unsure of where this channel and how life was going vs where it is now!! Congrats! 🎉 0:47
I really enjoy your frankness! And your authenticity makes you even more special. Thank you for sharing with us! ❤
You’re fresh air, 100% real, hilarious and SO relatable! I’m loving your vlogs! Greetings from Spain 💗
I understand you so well! I’ve been feeling down for the past year as well. Some people say “Just be happy with the little things” but when you hit 30, you want to see where your life is going and preferably towards a much brighter future. I wish you and your channel all the success! Keep going, you are making great videos!
Chelsea, I really don’t laugh at just anybody but you’re fucking comedy!! Honestly, you’re motivating. You’re living in one of the toughest cities for >6 years. Keep it pushing. Yeah, you’re not financially where you want to be at but who cares? One thing in life could happen and everything could change. Even then, money != happiness, just less stress. I’m rooting for you
You are so nice. Thank you!! 💓
Hey Chelsea, your videos came in my recommended and it's so refreshing to see the ACTUAL average life footage. Really love it! Takes away the pressure on my own life.
Oh and a tip for the Tiktok/social media binge, set a screen time limit in ur phone! My phone has that setting that per app you can set a timer per day. Therefore I don't end up scrolling for more than 1 hour a day. Hope this helps
Thank you so much! I’ve been in a rut and feeling stuck with my life- which is not a good feeling for a Virgo- as you would know. And I’m a musician from LA. Now in my very early 40’s I’m experiencing a lot about what you talked about with money and all that- I’ve always wanted to live in New York…… but I just fear it’s way too expensive and that I’ll never make it, even with a normal everyday job 😢 so this was just so light and funny, and inspiring to see! 🎉 thank you!
Put the oil when the pan is cool Chelsea and wait til it heats up and then put your veggies in. I hope this helps. I love your comment about the hip not being a fart lol.
Just wanted you to know you’re precious and I’m really glad you’ve started (and are continuing) this channel. Love the honesty and insight! I laughed a lot and feel for ya watching these
I love that you're so real! You're not putting on a perfect show, like most people I see online. 🙂
"Brushing your teeth is the only time you get to clean your skeleton", I will forever remember this. Thank you Chelsea.
it is my honor
I add the oil first and then heat the pan. I often times find it easier to just cook rice in a pan with a fried egg. LOL. I've been living in NYC since Aug of 2000 and it has changed so much in last 22 years. I've just now managed to live comfortably in this city, learning how to live within my means took me decades to figure out. But I'm at that stage that I am truly enjoying life in NYC and really like to watch your adventures too. Keep up the great videos.
Damn I gotta do the fried egg sometime! That’s amazing you’ve been here for two decades, such a huge feat! Thanks for watching :)
The gods that are the UA-cam algorithms are obviously shining on me today because for some reason this upload popped up on feed… and so grateful it did !!! Your so down to earth, relatable, honest ( imho) and so easy to watch.. me thinks I will be most definitely subscribing and binge watching all of your uploads I haven’t watched 😊😊💓😞🥰
🥹❤️✨so glad you found me! Thanks for watching
🥹❤️✨so glad you found me! Thanks for watching
Love love love this. Thanks for sharing the everyday-ness! It's fun.
🎉💓🙃
Sometimes I like to go over and back on the Staten Island ferry and have a coffee when I’m around there, the first time i was in that area was October 2001 and its amazing what they have done there in such a short time, very nice vid, thanks 👍
I always love watching how people live in NYC. I live in Florida and everything looks so dark and dreary in New York. Come to Florida and enjoy the sunshine and every color in the rainbow!
definitely need to visit florida 🥰
Put the oil in first. If you get a nonstick surface too hot it starts to release unfun checmicals in the air. Keep going, you're doing great!
Thank you!!!!!!!! 👩🏼🍳
You are doing amazing I love the raw authentic feel of your life and the days to experience
I’m an artist, stuck in a artist rut again for the probably 100th time in my life so far. Also 52 married for 32 years. Have a grouchy dog and grumpy but handsome husband. I totally get you. I don’t work out and eat horribly four days a week. I get you. Stay strong, hopefully I’ll go to the gym by Friday. Also I’m Theresa 😂
add the oil first :)
i recently found your channel, and as someone who also lives in nyc, it's...refreshing
and as someone who struggles with their mental health, thank you for how real you are. it brings me so much comfort. i discovered your channel yesterday, binged half of your content, and have already subscribed. keep going, you got this
I live in Vermont and am also in my 30s. NYC scares me, but would like to say thank you for sharing.IDK why that was so calming for me to watch?
Chelsea, I love how real and honest you are! You are so funny too! God Bless and all the Best on your Journey in LIfe😊
I love this video. You're honest and funny. I'm a native NYer, much older then you but feeling the same feelings. Be kind to yourself. You have accomplished a lot already. I'm trying to set myself up financially to remember my dreams. Lol. I've downsized and I'm trying to make sacrifices I haven't been willing to make until now. It's nice to know there are kindred spirits out there in all shapes and sizes. Thanks for sharing, I'm with you. 😊👍🏽
I'm with you too ❤️ thanks for being here!
Loved the slow motion flip of the frying pan! xx
Your vids make me feel so safe and comfy :]
🥲🥰
chelsea, this is the first time I've ever seen you on here but I'm so glad the alg came through and brought me to you. I relate to so much of what you talked about here and it's reassuring to see other people just figuring it out. keep going babes!
love the realism and honesty
OMG! The reaching your full potential thing! My life.
Just scrolling UA-cam found your channel. I find your content highly relaxing. Tfs ❤
I just stumbled upon your channel this morning. I hit the subscribe button to help you out. You are so fun. I am going to give you a little motivation to help you with your eating habits. You can do this! I recently started making myself some smoothies for breakfast because I do not get enough fruits and veggies in a day. I use some frozen mixed berries, banana, peanut butter and whatever you want for liquid, throw some spinach or kale in there if you want. Blend that up and then I put it into some solo cups with some plastic wrap to cover the top, pop them in the freezer then in the evening put one in the fridge to thaw out. You are good to go the next morning. Once you get your breakfast routine covered, then start working on some meal prepping on the weekends so when you get home from work during the weekday, you can heat up something healthy quickly. Some days I don't mind cooking, but a lot of days I just don't have it in me once I get home from work, so prepping ahead is great for me. Have a great day and keep up the good work!
I ❤ your authenticity. Girl, I soooo relate. Thanks for sharing.
Oil in the pan question - I add it in after the pan is hopefully the correct heat and use how much it smokes and flows in the pan to tell me. Too hot -- well, you'll know, not hot enough is usually obvious too. HTH....
Easy dish: oil, meat (or tofu), some bok choy, tons of garlic, salt and pepper to taste, add some water near the end and simmer for a couple of mins. Put over rice.
Also as a fellow 30 something living alone in NYC, this was pretty accurate 😂
thanks for the recipe 🥹
This vid came up in my "Recommeded" so I clicked on it & I loved it & I've been watching your vids for the past hour. You're adorable & real & I love it! Keep doing you, being real, being yourself. And 30 something life gets easier as the yes go by. Trust me.
Hi Chelsea, hope all is well with you - I really enjoyed your video! And I learned while watching how to make a nice useful citrus wedge without cutting the fruit in half like I always used to do! God Bless!
You really have a good channel I really like how open you are and the way you are talking. NYC is a tough place to live but its a wonderful city with so many things to offer and explore. Keep smiling 🙂
