Great point about making a stretchy wrap into a cast by cranking it. In my experience if I did 6 revolutions with the pioneer lilliebrdige wraps I got great rebound. But if I cranked them and did 7, then they turned to a cast and I lost most of my rebound. Now I’m a krait guy so it doesn’t matter as much.
At what point in your sets do you actually start wrapping your knees? Like 75% or wait till it gets heavier? This was one of the most informative videos on knee wraps I’ve seen and I think I’ve watched all of them! Thanks!
I got the iron rebel outlaws today in 2.5 meters, anyways. I can’t hit depth in them and it’s frustrating. I feel like there’s too much wrap even tho I’m a big guy with massive legs idk it’s frustrating
When do you recommend training with wraps vs not with wraps. I've been having some knee soreness with upping my squat volume so I'm looking to get wraps to potentially help? Would wraps do the trick?
Wraps would probably do the opposite as you’ll have to use far more weight because of how many lbs wraps add to your squat, you’re much better off upping your squat volume by using variations with better SRA curves such as tempo squats, front squats, oly squats.
Miguel Garcia for all three lifts SBD . 10mm are the way to go for beginners, even a 13mm but they are a bit harder to break in. it’ll be uncomfortable regardless, but it’s better than fucking your shit up. Check out Pioneer’s website at generalleathercraft.com

As far as knee sleeves go do you recommend super tight or firm i guess? Ty for your time.

10mm prong belt can be used for deadlift and squats? Or just for squats

I never knew there was a science behind wrapping your knees to prevent injuries and provide stability during heavy lifts.
Now I'm kinda lost.
