I have to admit, I have quoted some of your poetry in college finals trying to teach people what it means to be a person navigating gender. And as I take a break from school this year to kind of get my life back together I see this, and I’m so proud of you. I know I’m just a strange trans guy on the Internet but this gay boy is sending you a lot of love and support. You are amazing and your words mean a lot. Thank you for sharing.
I've never met Ollie, but have been listening to their poetry for years now, and the ending to this poem made me want to sob happy tears. I am also glad that my cat is not the only one who tries really hard to like..catch the toilet water when it's being flushed? This is just really, really great
You're poems always make me cry, no not always in a sad way. I connect to them so deeply and each time they make me realize something I've never noticed or realized before. You are by far my favroite poet and I hope you do this always. I feel like it's a good way to heal and it heals others. You are so strong and brave. Thank you for doing what you do and just being you and never, ever apologizing 💜
I know I'm asking a lot by asking this question but... What is this supposed to make me feel or even more so how do I see this as art or poetry, I don't see anything but a really awkward women making noise for attention
The British Bean the big thing is you gotta find poems that mean something to you. Some poems are gonna make you feel more strongly than others, some poems are gonna be much easier for you to relate to. Once you find poems that you like or interest you they’ll mean a lot more and you’ll feel stronger emotions when listening to them.
Poems don’t have to mean anything, sometimes they’re just things to help people cope or express themselves. People have different desires, some want the spotlight, some want acknowledgment, some just want to be alone. Anyone can have any sort of wants or wishes or needs when choosing to express themselves in this way. I guess what I’m trying to get at is that just because permission was given for showing the world her poem, it doesn’t mean someone who listens to it has to connect or resonate with it. It can be a form of art but that does not mean it’s meant to be appreciated by all. It’s okay if you don’t like it, or it doesn’t click with you, just acknowledge those feelings and find something that appeals to you more and try not to spread anger like others often do when something is not comprehensive for them.
+Taylor Zistl I see, thankyou just new to this channel and found myself enjoying a lot of them but some of them just don't click and I feel like I'm going about them wrong, but thanks
+Paullina Koester My intentions aren't to spread anger, but thanks for explaining I get now that it's subjective to each person and some poems don't relate everyone thanks for clearing it up, sorry if you felt I was just spreading anger for the sake of it

Ollie, freaking awesome as always! You got me into doing slam poetry and embracing myself and both of those are beautiful things
