I'm a sculpture teacher and I've never seen a better explainer video for making cardboard sculptures of figures of any kind. The bit with your dog at the end was a perfect touch. Cheers to you. Fantastic work!
oh my goodness. I am a cardboard paper mache artist and this is the best video I have ever seen, this helps me to improve my work. thank you for sharing this. This is very helpful.
Very neat. I have done similar constructions but this expands my technique. Using double thickness card for the body and legs gives considerable strength. Single or double strips from cereal packaging offers very smooth curves. Did you finish it off? I use paper laminate with CMC and PVA paste, then a thin modelling layer of paper pulp. It dries very hard and paints well.
