I use store bought air dry clay which you can find at any craft or toy shop.
When making your sculpture, Wait for each layer/part to dry especially when sculpting small details. It's much easier to control, shape and spread the clay when you sculpt in layers/parts.

Oh I'm so sorry, I was deleting some old videos and the cats on wood was indeed one of them 😔. I will have to look for the file somewhere in my drive or pc.
