There was a time when the pilgrims/visitors would start there journey on foot from Akhara Bazar (Tapu) point. There was no motorable road and no horses/ponies . Everybody had to go on foot only. It was not long before. I went for the first time in 1979 and the only way to go to Bijli Mahadev was on foot. It used to take around two hours to go and around one hour to return.

I went there in June 2019 but with a different route ( from jana falls) via bike and experience was unexplained. I stuck there in night all alone and experienced Mahadev's presence. It was thrilling and still gIves me goose bumps.
