It's very clear that the players' voice thing is entirely performative and nothing will ever come above the profits. They are catering so hard to those whales because people keep buying the stuff trying to keep up. The only thing that will ever stop this is if everyone cuts off their funding. Stop buying passes, stop buying characters trying to "keep up" with the new meta teams. Let their business sink. Give them feedback, sure, but the only message they understand is dollar signs.

While Player voice might not be able to directly change and influence what boundless does, cause at the end of the day they have final say, but saying they have no power is crazy. They are supposed to represent us, but also be a place to organize and get the community at large to band together. They should be yelling and leading the charge on a spending strike, since a part of the council is whale players/alliances. Cut scoply out from the knees buy not buying shuri on release would send a large message, and MSFPV has the ability to do it

This is the kind of thing that led to DC Legends getting shut down. Right now, Disney Sorcerer's Arena is in the same process. Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes is amazingly still open. I've been farming the same characters for literal years and have made zero progress. I've actually spent on MSF compared to the others, but I have no intention to do so in the future. If they want players to drop off and give up on the game, they're on the right course.

I think all of the points raised in the video are essentially good ones except for the overweighted emphasis on what players should be doing or should have to do in order to influence the decision-making of a corporation. Ultimately, the the failure to realize the core needed changes in the game is not a failure of the player voice. It’s a failure of the developers ear.
Until players speak with their wallets nothing will ever change. The krakens are so invested/addicted they would never consider boycotting a character to prove a point. That’s what it boils down to.

You mentioned that before we at least had blitz release events and able to farm shards from campaigns and so on, well, you proudly said months ago that you contributed to the change of more farmablity for shards via stores instead and removing blitz from most of events, scopley just "balanced" and gated things around those changes by removing the release of character via campaign events where we could farm orbs for a character and so on. A bit of awareness man, you are a grown up, not a teenager, not every thought that cross your mind need to be put in a video on UA-cam for controversial views. Maybe think how you can do better instead of talking about how other people can do more and saying that the best you can do is to change your review in the google store and I am trying to be respectful because I do watch your content and I do find value in it, hope you'll see it as a constructive criticism.

Just to give you a reference for activity - in swogh, couple of months ago, the second largest guild cluster decided that for 3 months they are not going to participate in one of the alliance modes (our alliance war), did it changed anything? Hack no, they barely got a response, but that was an amazing effort. Spending ban never works, but engagement ban can be arranged, will you be willing to push entire alliances and group of players to stop playing crucible until the trophy issue will be fixed? Did you think about pushing for not engaging in spotlight raids until they will remove the tags? Did you think about pushing for not participating in cap Britain showcase and the legendary event that the illuminati will be needed for?, because if people will not engage in crucible anymore, the people that bought Cap Britain won't actually have the advantage they searched for because you can't smash an opponent that didn't came to play.
I like the game but they're improving stuff oh so slowly. I get it that it isnt an instant fix situation but its almost as if the biggest part of their focus lays in releasing new teams and making profits They could lay more focus on making the game better instead of making the game bigger
i only spent twice on this game never again very close to quitting i only upgrade characters i like to upgrade right now, played since day 1 but did take 1 18 month break, may do again if this continues. I miss the old ways to unlock characters, but what is the point when next month that teams replaced? marvel future fight has the same issue too, but nowhere near as bad. FIX THE GAME SCOPELY!

You were part of the leadership of MSFPV in the beginning and were very adamantly against ever doing any sort of Spending Strike of putting out bad app reviews and yet now you’re throwing the movement under the bus for what - Your own worthless views? You’re an envoy and you had an equal opportunity to lodge your protests against this unlock method and had the same results as the council did. You are a content creator and you have a platform and over 8k members on your discord server and 18k followers here and yet you chose to insult the work of the MSFPV instead of using your own platform here to push for change. This is a prime example of what’s wrong with the community, pointing fingers at each other instead of at the real issues at hand which is Scopely’s decision making. You full well know that spending strikes don’t work, you can’t get the people that spend on board with it (especially since this impacts only the F2P and low spenders) AND review bombing never works because both Apple and Google have tech in place to prevent a large body of massive negative reviews from impacting an app as that can be perceived as being caused by bots. Why not work with the other envoys and the MSFPV directly instead of posting a dumb video and find ways together to come up with solutions instead of just pointing fingers. Sorry, can you please provide evidence of me saying that I didn't want people to change their rating on the App Store? I've suggested that numerous times when the game has gone to shit.
Previous movements presented some demands and as leverage proposed boycott like stop spending or review bombing. Had a limited, but caused an impact when enough people followed it. The current movent didn't need a leverage because was born during the massive exodus of players after apocalypse release. Scopely was eager to please to avoid that hemorrhage. Now that need is gone, so the voice is irrelevant.
You do know that PV do all this on their own free time and do not get paid for all the work they put in. You have a fellow envoy that is a major contributor to the PV. Very disrespectful of you to say that they need to do more.

Previous movements presented some demands and as leverage proposed boycott like stop spending or review bombing. Had a limited, but caused an impact when enough people followed it. The current movent didn't need a leverage because was born during the massive exodus of players after apocalypse release. Scopely was eager to please to avoid that hemorrhage. Now that need is gone, so the voice is irrelevant.
You do know that PV do all this on their own free time and do not get paid for all the work they put in. You have a fellow envoy that is a major contributor to the PV. Very disrespectful of you to say that they need to do more.

All the supporters of the players voice movement are coming out in droves to hate on you Tauna, but you’re completely right. They are actually DOING anything. They just talk and talk but don’t actually make any meaningful change. And when you talk about it they spend more time attacking you than attacking Scopely’s bad practices. Don’t listen to the hate.
