She is adorable and beautiful. Ok...they met on Twitter (she was following him on Twitter). Adorable. I'm glad he found love a second time around and now has two children. What a beautiful story. God always blesses those people who are a blessing to others. God has definitely provided a major blessing to Danny Gokey. What a fantastic life he now has. Wishing him and his wife tons of happiness, success and love for years and years. May God continue to bless them both!

The "support" goes both ways. I am sure that Danny Gokey "supports" his wife in the same way that she "supports" his music career. It takes an understanding and strong woman to marry a man who is always "on the road" promoting his music career. Some people may misunderstand her comment about supporting her husband. As a strong Christian woman, I completely understand her comments in this video. However, others here obviously do not understand what she meant.

This old fashioned idea that women are less than men is sad and actually hurts women.
I know all about Danny's story because I watched him on Idol. He used the death of his first wife to elevate himself to fame which is disgusting first and foremost so anything he achieves is tainted IMO.
I don't really watch idol, and didn't know he was on the program till recently. All I know is I have been hearing "Hope in front of me" on K-Love repeatedly for I dont know how long. It is a current song that can actually send goosebumps and show the light of Jesus out of a storm and trial. One, losing someone is never easy. Two, regardless of his success and the pain he endured, he still is only human. You are entitled to my opinion, but sometimes God uses the messes and trials that we endure to show a deeper message and bring a little bit of light into someone's darkness. And his wife, she said what she said.....i doubt she was saying what she said to be a put down on women and to degrade them. And again, you are definitely entitled to your opinion and perspective on things.....
I love how Shane's feminism ideals are counter to this Christian woman's lol Heaven forbid she help her husband and act as a helpmate. Why put down someone for staying at home and raising beautiful kids?? He didn't use his wife's death as a tool to further his career, you either have the talent or don't. Your comment is tainted O.o
