Wow, I started watching you while I was in Korea. Making my own biltong inspired by you.. Now I moved back to SA just to realize you moved to Canada!!! Take care and enjoy the adventure
Welcome to Canada! We moved from SA too, to Alberta, Sylvan Lake to be precise! We started watching your videos some time ago on how to build a biltong box! Now im sitting right next to it, making some fresh biltong! Next up is to make our own boerewors and droëwors for the first time! Shout if we can help with anything!
Thank you so much. Our boerewors in Canada video will shout come out in the next 3 weeks. With ingredients here in Canada. Its our favourite recipe for boerewors. Will definitely shout! Now to get ready for the winter soon hey. Take care and enjoy the biltong!!!
@@XmanCo Awesome, we looking forward to it. We still use brown vineger from SA for our biltong, but looking forward to it! Yea, winter is just around the corner! We love the snow though! The cold....not so much haha! Take care man!
Really nice burger, looks great & looks like it tastes even better 😊 👍 The only thing is, you should have a Weber kettle & cooking off charcoal & wood, gas never cuts it, you know what I mean, but totally understand, "your ship is coming in" lol, hope you’re settling in well, It will be a big culture shock & take some time to adjust, but still just amazing, your food looks great even without all the "pretty props" in the background, you are cooking food so well & that’s what matters, looks amazing, well done, never lose confidence no matter what environment you are in when cooking, you can be in a top set up or you can be in a camp site, but it doesn’t matter because you’re a braai master & whenever you cook, you’re cooking meneer.
Hey Man, thank you for the amazing message and support. Really appreciate it so much. It has been a shock to the system but South Africa will always be in our blood. We do miss the luxury but slowly building up to it again. True what you say. Cooking stays cooking no matter where you are. Hoping to bring more regular content for you guys. Stay safe and enjoy your food man!
Hello from Kelowna. Ex Rhodie here (1976). Canada has been good to us (my folks left Rhodesia with $5k, 3 kids and our suitcases to start over) but I'm not sure where the country is going now. Will be interesting to see what you think in comparison to SA. I was 11 when we left but my parents never let us forget where we came from. Your channel is great. Keep up the good work.
Hey man. Hahhaha. No its not hard at all. This was 1 week from into this place and just didnt have time yet to buy a charcoal braai. But you are spot on man
Glad to see you settling in. Can't wait for more of your BBQ take on Pacific Northwest. We recommend you smoke something over alder wood - it's native to the area and an amazing smoke wood.
Hi there thanks for the feedback. We normally use our microphones but unfortunately our equipment is still in our container on its way. We just made this on our phones quickly. I do apologize for the sound though.
I am sorry you had to leave South Africa. This may be controversial. Since nobody likes to talk about this. But one day you can come back. GOD has promised South Africa will become better then it used to be. Nice food boet.

Did you escape? Well done if you did! It takes about two years to settle in. Tip: Mix with locals and not the South African expats! Cheers!
