- Per viewers' requests I show a vehicle in motion, yay! Also I talk a lot about what it's like to drive, about different modes and experiences on a highway and local roads, what works and what doesn't for Driver+ system, and a lot of other stuff related to Rivian R1T

Getting mine next month. I used your link for the center caps.
glad it was helpful!
Whoops…4. Release brake keeping throttle pressed
Crazy how quick all these electric cars are.
It is!
Great video. I'm also located in the West Chester area. If you see a Forest Green in the area, it's probably mine.
Hey, that’s awesome! by any chance, we’re you yesterday somewhere in a vicinity of Applebrook golf club? Line rd, Paoli pike?
@@alexmak1 I don't think so. Yesterday I was around Downingtown and Exton running errands.
@@johnhronafalvy I see. I believe the rivian I saw there yesterday was also in green, but I didn’t have enough time to figure out whether it’s LG or FG.
@@alexmak1 I did see a red R1T in Chester Springs last week.
@@johnhronafalvy I also saw an El Cap Granite a couple weeks ago, parked near Aoyama ramen restaurant in NSQ. Apparently there are a lot of them in the area!
Great Video! Im gonna start long process of planting seeds in my wife's head about how we need this truck. :D wish me luck. Слава Україні!
Good luck! Tell her that my wife loves this truck even though she's not a truck person.
Героям слава!
People don’t think it’s sporty because you lower. It has a inter linked hydraulic suspension setup like a mclaren. Obviously much heavier but as for a heavy truck this may be as good as it gets. Smoking tire even said maybe all purpose even drives better on bumpy roads. Because the hydraulic setup helps create a tight stabilization even at higher heights. Also true torque vectoring helps
I have plenty of experience driving sport cars, including mclarens. so while the setup might be "like a mclaren", it doesn't drive like one. yes, it's better than a traditional pickup truck, but not as sporty, as, let's say, a sporty Porsche Macan, for instance
@@alexmak1 I'm not questioning your credentials, but your presentation can be questioned. I just don't think anyone is saying "this thing handles like a GT4". But it has some functionality that enables it to handle better than most trucks. "Lowering the truck" like you said is - imo - not the thing that makes it handle well. Is what I was getting at. What is surprising is to know this thing weighs 7000 pounds then take it around a turn at a high rate of speed. Would be interesting to see it race around a track vs a Macan GTS, though.
And to add - I think the reason people say it handles well when they say 'it can do most everything well' is because those are the people that never bought a truck because they don't like the truck driving experience of wofting all over the road. This is a nice compromise.
@@realMysta that indeed would be an interesting test. I remember once on a track i was racing against turbo-charged weight-reduced gt86. I was pulling up in the straights with Camaro twice amount of power, but in turns that thing was having me on a plate.
@@realMysta it's definitely not a truck experience, it's more of a nice refined SUV experience. just not a sporty one just because it can go low and stiff.
To maximize 0-60 (launch) 4 easy steps….1. Sport mode 2. Press brake fully 3. Press throttle fully 4. Release throttle
