The new infotainment system with old UI ported to it was a mistake. Almost half the display is blank. They didn't change the camera quality or turning radius. These should have been addressed before spending money on tooling for a hood/grill refresh. Also seems they missed out on all the people who wanted a kingcab pro4x. While the longbed pro4x addition was nice update they needed to have some locker package available in kingcab.
I like the Frontier because it's low tech and I don't care about the screen. But Chris Forsberg replaced the screen in his Titan with an aftermarket unit from Nifty City that is also available for the Navara/Frontier. The SV 4X2 King Cab longbed is available with Active Brake Limited Slip Differential (ABLS) brake actuated.
Honestly, I think the 25 update has made the truck look worse overall, the bigger screen is the only real improvement and they really didn't implement it well either. I'm glad I picked up a 24 when I did, mine is specced exactly like this, but it was 3k cheaper to top it off.
Bought a Frontier king cab SV w/towing package a couple of weeks ago, really happy with the truck! I wanted something that can tow 5500 lbs (my RV) from time to time and a bigger truck bed ( king cab). I test drove Colorado, Ranger, Maverick all were lacking power the 4 bangers would be lawn mower engines without the turbo and none could haul over 5000 lbs. the frontier's 6 cylinder, 310 horse power makes this mid-size truck a truck, the others seem like a compact car with a truck bed !
I'm a Nissan guy, but you really don't ever want to exceed 80% of any vehicle's max tow rating. On most Frontiers, that's basically 4800-5000 lbs. and some would even tell you to keep looking for a full-size V8 pickup with that weight.
It’s too bad the fuel economy isn’t better. That’s right where my 24 Titan is according to the epa. My city might be 16. Also, always wished the mid sized truck market would make a “mega-cab version”. What stopped me from going midsized is the back seat room. I still have kids that go with me (for a few more years), parents occasionally and friends. It’s nice to have more room.
@@kmb957my truck does truck things but can’t afford multiple vehicles. Would love an inexpensive single cab for my truck needs and a car/suv for commuting. That touchscreen really bothers me. They need to update the software and use the ENTIRE screen. Not just a small portion on the left. It’s lazy on Nissan and they don’t need that right now with their recent struggles and negative news.
What is going on with Nissan? They can't upgrade the dang remote. The new Armada has a different remote. Why can't they update the remote? It's a simple thing. Also, are you going to review the long bed? Thank you

The single most trashy thing in the auto industry over the last 2 decades is selling cars, brand new cars even, with almost empty fuel tanks. 30-60 dollars for a tank of fuel for 90% of vehicles and these dealerships say "fuck that!" and people put up with it. Pro tip for consumers, just tell them to top it off when negotiating. You are already way overpaying for your vehicle in 2024 and you, the sales guy and everyone else knows it, demand they fill the vehicle up. It's a tiny ask in comparison to what you are paying and although I think it[s insulting that you even have to ask, that's the sick twisted world we live in. Maybe if we all start demand it, then it will become common practice again. Disgusted at 3:30
Nissan makes the best mid size pick up. The v6 is a much better choice than the turbo 4, it is more robust and able to haul without the worry of killing the motor. I love mine.
The “nostrils”on the hood ruined a perfectly good looking exterior, and that overly large, obnoxiously hideous FRONTIER on the dashboard.. What the hell were they thinking? That’s why I always buy the first year of any model vehicle. They start out good looking, then ugly em up every year after that.
Over $40,000 and it's not even an SL trim Don't get a wireless charger and no LED headlights or fog lights. There's also no incentives for the 2025. Just my two cents.
I went to the Edmonds website and discovered that the 2025 Frontier is available as a 2WD, extended cab (King Cab), with a long bed, which is my favorite truck configuration. Nissan Frontier PRO-X - Specs & Features. Trim: S, 4dr King Cab, 6.1 ft. bed. Max Towing Capacity: 7,150 lbs. Max Payload Capacity: 1,590 lbs. Starting MSRP: $32,050 (Canadian). Trim: SV, 4dr King Cab, 6.1 ft. bed. Max Towing Capacity: 7,130 lbs. Max Payload Capacity: 1,620 lbs. Starting MSRP: $34,390 (Canadian). Overview Gas Engine: 3.8L 6cyl. Transmission: 9-speed shiftable automatic. Drive Type: Rear wheel drive. Total Seating: 4. Basic Warranty: 3 yr./ 36,000 mi.
Over priced over hyped and not even worth have the money that want for it trucks are among the cheapest made vehicles and the companies are trying to rake in big profits to bolster their bottom line
Good 🌅Love the Nissan!! I like how it is basic with physical buttons the way a truck should be!
Really happy with my 2024 SV. ...worry free.
I really like the Frontier. Had two of them and am planning to buy another.

You still paid too much .
The only thing I wish they would add on the SV trim is the locking rear diff (like on the Pro-4X)
2025 Nissan Frontier SV Crew Cab 4X4!
43k for a base mid sizer! Imagine if manufacturers would stop shipping these trucks to dealers with all those BS options.

Wow. I purchases a 2024 Pretty loaded Pro-4x in June. It was slightly more expensive than this. I'd shop for a 2024 before I paid MSRP for a 2025 SV

Nissan frontier is a cool truck to own one
Love the cloth seats. It amazes me that people like leather but then they need seat heaters or cooling nope not for me !
Easy cleanup
The rims are really awesome.
Rocking the Will do car reviews for food look 😂
Is there any difference between the seat cushion quality between the sv and pro4x?
Can you do one with a 6 foot bed of those going to be hard to come by?

Trucks are supposed to do truck things. If anything, there should be a single cab option for us who actually use trucks for work purposes.

43k for a basic truck with no upgrades, is fucking wild. No wonder why Nissan is going out of business.

Is this engine naturally aspirated? Or did they put a stupid worthless turbo?

43k. What. That should be 27k max. Loonytoons.
your money is worth half of what is was less then 6 years ago, there is a particular group that is behind this. you are correct about the price though
People are naive enough to pay that, they will continue to raise prices.
This country gone to complete crap. Wages hasn't even gone up much.
43k? Really? Was looking at a 24 Pro4X last year and they were going for 43k, but i thought that was too much. I wanted for $38k
The bigger screen is pointless if it still only shows the 8-9” portion. Dumb!
