I am so glad this just randomly popped up in recommended I’ve been rolling around with no horn and an srs light because I never found a good video of it you’re a life save man
@@DrewMestel Definetly are, have you made a video on how to change the levers behind the steering wheel? I'd prefer your tutorial over anyone elses lmao
@@hezowrld Are you referring to the radio switches? I haven't tampered with my yet, however, I do have a tutorial on complete steering wheel and clockspring removal. That could definitely get someone on the right track. ✅️
I never saw your comment, I apologize. I used quite a thicker gauge of wire thick enough that it would retain its shape. I forgot what I used exactly, but it was what I had laying around. Sorry that's not helpful.
I used a 3.3 ohm resistor because that's what everyone suggested in the 4g forums however I still have a light on and it's finally time for an inspection. Any suggestions?
I'm sorry to hear that. I would start by checking for intermittent connection by moving the harness connector around first and repeating connections. If the SRS light still persists I would try one with less ohms. Mine came back once, but never again.
For anyone else watching, it’s also the same size for the 4g Mitsubishi Eclipse as well. NRG doesn’t list the 2006-2012 Eclipse as compatible with the 100H hub adapter, but it’s the correct fit. I just bought and installed one in my 2007 Eclipse 👍🏼
I have a 2003 gts and I bought some seats from a junk yard. The new seats have different plugs could I bypass them with a resistor as you did so I don't get a SRS light on the dash
My GTS has the same SRS air bags built into the seats as well. I planned to do the very same to accomplish exactly that as well. You'll just have to experiment to see if that same 2.2 ohm resistor will be adequate like it has here for the steering wheel airbag. If not, it may need a slightly stronger one.
I realized I never replied to you. Better late than never...haha 😅 I had a similar issue actually! I had to PERFECTLY position the ground wiring underneath in a spiraled pattern until it retracted nicely inward and held it in place.
Hope I am able to help. What kind of resistor did you use? And how did you fix it inplace on the connector? Did you have an SRS before removing this airbag? There could be a fault elsewhere.
Guys it’s pretty obvious. He hasn’t answered the questions, it’s pretty obvious that it’s not real carbon fiber, it’s most likely a wrap. Still looks awesome tho
No sir. I HATE fake carbon. These are custom made real carbon fiber pieces by "Creative Intentionz" on IG. Good guy and can make pretty much anything. I have messaged plenty of people privately. Sorry if that came off secretive. Some are purchasable right from the Special Carbon website as well.

That's the goal! I'm glad to hear it was helpful. I will be making plenty more like this one. Thanks for watching.
Hey man where did you get that carbon fiber shroud
On insta gram
I was wondering the same thing 🧐
Where did you get the carbon fiber shroud
Bro I don’t know what to say god bless you
Real good tutorial brother 🙏 Thank you for your knowledge
I'm so glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching 👊
Thanks so much bro, I just got an eclipse too
Nice! Hope the videos are a helping hand. ✋️

Where did you get the shroud and what size wheel
Ive never seen that vertex thing on the indicator before , looks kool😎
Definitely an uncommon, but helpful piece 👌
you are the best my boy
🙌
Thank you D. I need to bulletproof Ryuko ASAP.
Good shit bro thanks, clear simple instructions 😎
No problem! Glad to hear that it was helpful and concise. 👊
And our shroud still looking good for you. Lol
can I get a link to the Hub and the quick release u have in this video.
Does your hub need to fit in to the gear looking thing on the bolt under the thread or is tightening the bolt down good enough
Hey what size conductive wire gauge did you use?

I have an 09 GT if that makes any difference
I'm sorry to hear that. I would start by checking for intermittent connection by moving the harness connector around first and repeating connections. If the SRS light still persists I would try one with less ohms. Mine came back once, but never again.
What short hub was it ?
I know it’s an nrg but does it matter what’s size?
SRK-100H. That's the Mitsubishi Hub that fits our 3g's.

So what are the extras exactly ? Also any links to share to find these ?
what size conductive wire?
We’re did you get that Carbon fiber cover
Do you still have your passenger horn bron
Any issues with your headlights and gauge cluster light not turning on at all?
I can't say I've had any issues like that. What are you experiencing?
Can i get the link were you got this im wanting the same one
What’s the gold piece attached to the light switch?
lol The turn signal? That's a Vertex Turn Signal extension for use with deep concave wheels with quick release hubs.
How did you get the horn button installed? I can’t get mine to stay in
I realized I never replied to you. Better late than never...haha 😅 I had a similar issue actually! I had to PERFECTLY position the ground wiring underneath in a spiraled pattern until it retracted nicely inward and held it in place.
Carbon fiber shroud?
It's a custom piece I had made by Creative Intentionz. Not too bad of fit for a handmade piece.
So I tried many times to remove the SRS light and nothing, did the exact steps
Hope I am able to help. What kind of resistor did you use? And how did you fix it inplace on the connector? Did you have an SRS before removing this airbag? There could be a fault elsewhere.
What size hub adapter ?
100h
@@DrewMestel you’re a g 🙏🏽
Whaaaat year!?!?
2004 GTS
So I get to lose cruise control?
You can retain it with a mount bracket behind the quick release if you so wish. Much like how people often do with the 350z.
@@DrewMestel thanks for the update
