Just bought this a few days ago. Using it with my S90D and on Q Symphony. I would say the voice or dialog sounds clearer indeed but it needs a little bit of getting used to coz you will indeed notice at the beginning that the voice is coming from the soundbar instead of the TV. When you switch it to just TV sound the sound is more normal and you can hear some slight background sounds that's part of what your watching more apparent compared to when it's on Q Symphony. When you just use the soundbar alone, it sounds fuller (or clearer with the sound) but it's not as broad compared to the TV since the TV speakers are more wide spread compared to the sound bar that is very short so the sound travel is not as far as the TV (not sure if that makes sense). I think for watching movies Q Symphony mode is much better with adaptive sound. I've only tested it for an hours so need to play with it more. But it's good to have a soundbar for playing music (Spotify).
that is correct we have that with free 2 day shipping as well! - www.walts.com/speakers/surround-sound-speaker/samsung-surround-sound-speaker-swa-9200s Also did a video on that as well! - ua-cam.com/video/ACPNNs0DfSk/v-deo.html&lc=Ugza9bazKdLuy-77Ns94AaABAg
I paired my S61D with a subwoofer from a q600A and it worked. The difference is obvious, a way better with a sub. Samsung recomends swa510 for this soundbar, but it's not available in my country (Chile).

For sure, Thanks for sharing!
Good review. I think I’m going to get this one.
Let me know how you like it! - www.walts.com/speakers/soundbar/samsung-soundbar-hw-s61d
I wonder if Atmos works over HDMI rather than just wirelessly. I have it hooked up to Alienware QD-OLED so hooked up through eArc only
Not sure only because with monitors they are built up a little different.
Got it recently for a good price on clearance. From what I read in the manual there is also a wireless rear speaker kit SWA-9200s to make it 7.1

These pair also very well the Samsung M80C/D monitors (the white 61D version especially)
Ahhh yes I didn't even think of that!

Oh nice, nice to know that a different sub worked.
I was able to pair it with a WR-45BB from a Q6CB soundbar.
Will it work with a different (Teac) subwoofer?
No you need that Samsung specific subwoofer.
Hi, in your opinion, how does S61D + subwoofer compare to Sonos Beam and Samsung Q600C?
It should sound better than the ray and very similar to the Q600C. Mostly because the beam doesn't have a sub and the q600c does!
Hi do u think this or a sonos ray would be better? On my tv ill be listening to music a lot and movies and shows
depends! they both sound pretty similar without a subwoofer!
