    At 12:00 sir , when foreign atom gets interstitial site , this is know as interstitial defect and due to this the density of solid increases.
    This is what mention in ncert!

    Crystallization depends open nucleation growth and diffusion and rate of supercooling , slow rate of cooling in high temperature crystallization is more order and high symmetry because of high vibration thermal energy ...

    Hlo sir i am an msc studnet watching your video sir it's my request pls upload one video on mathematical relationship between point defect and temperature .. your video are really very helpful sir specially when u teach it seems you adjust yourself like a student and from that level u start teaching repeating the fact more and more so that it got fit to our schema.

    Concept is cleared completely but I have a doubt in Sochttky and Frankel defect that how they depends on Co-ordination no. Means in some books they write that Sochttky defect occur when Co-ordination no. Is high and Frankel defect occur when Co-ordination no. Is low. How? Plss explain.

      Kyoki , sochttky defects me cations or anions ka sape almost equal hota hai so if co-ordination number jayada hoga to cation ka shape bhi bda hoga so that usi ki size ke almost anions uske surround ho so , sochttky defects me co-ordination number jyada hote hai and iske opposite frankel defects me cation is smaller than anions so co-ordination number jitne km honge to cation km electron ko surround Karega jisse cation ka size small ho paega so co-ordination number km hote hai. I hope now you understand..

    sir, why is vacancy defect under stoichiometric?
    i mean since the particle is removed so automatically its stoichiometry is disturbed
