Omg thank u thank u for this. I have been wondering how people get these intricate perfect patterns they have on BraceletBook like the portraits and such. PleAse can u do another more detailed one like maybe a portrait or like an animal or something. This was so helpful. I’d like to see it again with more detail pic .
This was *super* helpful! I’ve been trying to figure this out for months! I, for one, would love to see you make a video like this on a more detailed image!
Thanks very much for this video! I have used it for reference several times now. The reverse colouring get's me everytime (turning three colours into two)!
Can't wait to try this! About to start cross stitch for the first time and I wanted to know how to make my own pattern. Thank you for explaining this! 🤗
Thank you so much for doing a video on this! This is really helpful! Would you also mind doing a part 2 on this video with more complicated colors? By the loved the video!❤️❤️
Hi I wanna make a pattern, it’s a full image and I put it to 200 x 200 to get the best quality. But I don’t wanna crochet 200 stitches width and height, how can I make it smaller but still have the detail?
How can you make the pattern not look stretched out once it’s knotted? The same amount of knots across ends up shorter than the amount of rows downward
I don’t mean to be rude at all, I just think that uploading an image like this takes away the credit from the artist of the logo you chose. You can chose any picture off of the internet and change a pixel or two to justify it as “your own”. By posting a pattern like this on braceletbook, you are saying that it was your own design, when it really wasn’t. I know some of the more popular people in the community purposely don’t do this and publish it to a site just because it ruins the integrity of the design and the author behind it - instead they post it on their story giving credit so the real author can be appreciated. This is why if I use a pattern that isn’t on braceletbook, I will reference to the account where you can find the pattern, just so I am not ruining the integrity of the pattern and the author can get the most appreciation for their work. Again, I don’t say this to be rude, I just say it as a warning cause this can be hurtful to many creators that make their own designs. No hate at all!
The friendship bracelet community is one of the most welcoming and kindest communities and I hate to see the credit of others’ work being discredited, which this video can encourage if it’s not done correctly.
I definitely see your point, and an important topic to talk about! I was just hoping to help someone out there who would also like to create an Xbox logo if they would like to find a pattern for one, so I just shared it to the most popular bracelet platform. No, I did not design the Xbox logo, but I also didn't copy somebody else's pattern pixel for pixel to create a popular logo. Like I said in the video, I don't post my patterns to braceletbook anymore, and this is a huge reason why! I definitely don't encourage other people to steal art and upload it to other websites, but I feel like creating an accessible pattern for a logo of a very popular gaming company on Braceletbook is a little different than that.
