Hi Johanna - sorry for the late reply - I didn't see your comment notification! The story was slightly different than taking it back as I needed it for an urgent job that weekend, plus it's a bit of a trek to the nearest store, so I decided to fix it instead - link below! ...also, it's a few months later now, and I can report that it still works perfectly!
