Theres actually a bit of history as to why that was a bigger deal than what was shown in the movie. Of the fellowship, only Legolas was savvy enough with the affiars of the elves to know how great of a gesture that was on Galadriels part.
@@georgechapman9688 he meant lore wise not in real life... This is a brief version... It's about Galadriel and an Elven Lord, name Feanor. She looked into Gimli when the dwarf requested for the same, sensing only good in him, she gave him the three strands she denied Feanor.

Yes, that's true and he played these scenes masterfully every time. I always wished he hadn't died. He's a very good actor, he fits very well into these kinds of roles and when he's playing a hero you buy it immediately. Hi everyone! I’m a crew member from the trilogy (not the Hobbits), I like to watch these react videos because I get great swellings of pride at how much people are affected by them. I love the movies still and watch them (extended only of course) at least once a year with my family. I’m happy to answer any questions that people may have if I’m able , it was a LONG time ago!😂 Much love from NZ, Kia Ora
Well, what role did you play? I'm assuming an orc, maybe an extra? Or were you from behind the scenes? Was it an enjoyable experience? Any frustrations during filming on your part? Was the pay good?
@@RedFloyd469 I was a crew member and always behind camera. I had a chance to be a Gondor extra at one point, but my technical job needed me back 😔 It was very enjoyable, the cast and crew got pretty close over the long months. I was very young so the money looked good to me 😂
No questions just want to say thank you to you and all the crew these movies came out when I was in my early teens and have been a part of my life ever since.❤
Yeah they aren't normies, that's part of why they stand out. Haha MauLer, Rags and Wolf, they're from a podcast called EFAP. Terrific content if you like getting deeply autistic with your movie analysis. And I do mean that as a compliment.
Glad you enjoyed it! I do my best editing these mashups and this project took me 6 months to make so i poured my heart and soul editing these reactions together. And you wont have to wait for long for the rest. Two Towers is coming this Saturday and Return of the King is Next Saturday. It will be Epic!😎😎😎😎
Galadriel in this vs ROP is just night and day. She does not yell, give attitude, or spew off titles. Her power and intimidation comes from her presence alone, while still being a genuinely kind being.
@@MixMatch53 Its like the writers of RoP had a list of all Galadriel's traits and decided to do the exact opposite of each trait. A complete bastardisation of a wonderful character.
"Mary and Pippen shouldnt have come to begin with." Eru Illuvatar moves in mysterious ways. Without mary and pippen the quest would have failed several times. Mary and Pippen secure frodo and sams passage to bree. In the two towers, Its mary and pippen through their convincing of tree beard that leads to the destruction of isenguard, and the capture and imprisonment of Saruman, and later in the return of the king, Pippen not only serves as a distraction for Sauron to target gondor allowing Frodo and sam to pass into mordor, he then lights the beacons calling for aid, and saves foramir's life. And without Mary's intervention, the Witch king would not have died, and the battle of Palenor fields would have been lost. There isnt a single member of the fellowship that doesnt belong. Least of all the hobbits.
One of my favorite videos on YT. It shows us that LOTR Is much more than just "the Bible of all nerds". It's a magical, thriving and touching story of adventures, perils, joy and sorrow, friendships, hardships, and so much more. And to see so many different people watching it while smiling, laughing, crying or getting angry, well... It's just awesome. Love you all from Italy 🇮🇹❤️💍
I love listening to all their reactions to Pippin’s shenanigans in this movie. I can’t wait until they see his cleverness and brilliance in Two Towers and Return of the King. Also, I do love the clip of Legolas’s terrified gaze when Gandalf says the Moria monster is a Balrog, a demon that was the bane of the Elves in the ancient world. It was the little details like that that will always make this a fantastic series made by true fans who loved the source material.
I love how in the middle of all these reactors genuinely experiencing this awesomeness for the first time, there's EFAP, taking the complete piss out of it "It appears to be completely solidified cocaine" xD

It's so funny watching people blanche at how long the extended edition is going to be and then when it ends - 3+ hours later - they're all like WTH??? It's over already???
when you watch it the first time, you don't get the kind of desicion Frodo makes when he says that he will get the Ring to Mordor. but whe you see it for a second time, you understand why Gandalf makes that defeated face when he hears him.
Bilbo: "I regret to inform you, that this is the end. I'm going now.... Goodbye." [Vanishes] Hobbits in movie: [gasp with shock] react-tubers: [Exactly the same as the hobbits!] It is a simple thing, but it brings me joy.
What truly amazes me is that you, millennials have enjoyed watching this entire trilogy. Back in the day, each movie was the most expected that the audience longed to watch. I'm glad to realize that you have incorporated each one of these movies in your inner own.
I can't believe you cut, "Those racists are out there!" from the Efap coverage, one of the most memorable parts imo. Still, fantastic job putting this all togetheher.
Well i had to really cut it down and sacrifices had to be made. and also i didn't want people to be annoyed since i have been getting messages on how they dont like efap. nothing malicious just didn't care for them
Just watching this after Christmas. The last young lady was upset and I know how she felt. When I saw the movies when they first came out I didn't know it was a trilogy. I thought, I have watched this for over 3 hours and there's no end...I was furious! The good thing is you guys don't have to wait the year between each movies to see what happens, so lucky... lol!😊
I love whenever someone watches this movie, and when it ends they always say “that’s it, it’s over?” When a 3 hour movie (four if extended but you really should watch the theatrical version first) leaves you wanting more, you know it’s good
Vkunia has low key viciousness. "KILL THIS MAN!" "What a sad existence 😢... unless you destroy them 😈." And the look in her eyes when she realized she'd have to watch two more movies to finish the story, I wouldn't want to be around her if she was near sharp objects.
A Few Notes on this: I watch the extended trilogy almost every December. 2:49- 2:50, pipeweed isn't really marijuana, Tolkien actually likens it more to tobacco, as he was fond of smoking pipes. 5:23- 5:27, another name for hobbits is halflings (their name originating 'cause they're half the size of the average human, so we're talking 3- 3'5" more or less) 21:22- 21:26, elves are technically immortal (with the oldest known elf in Tolkien's works being Cirdan the Shipwright at 10741- 11364 years old), though they can be killed
I like how the viewers who going on about how one of the Hobbits fucked up at some point to make things worse for the fellowship, and knowing that in the future movies, their fuck ups actually turned into a boon for the good guys.
This was really cathartic, what with amazons snooze fest of power going on. Really good edits earned a sub. Perfect timing as well that I discover this the night Maulers PC died so no EFAP.
Yeah too bad his PC died. Guess we'll see an efap tomorrow hopefully. But glad you found this video. I also have two Towers and return of the King you can go see
You know a movie is good when you don’t want it to end once we reach a cliffhanger. The Lord of the Rings is one such series of films that I would love watching time and time again, and I would never get tired of them. This is such an amazing journey from start to finish!
I just discovered these after seeing the collection for Khazad'dum. These are great to watch, much because I had similar reactions when I first saw the films. One criticism for me is the little drop-ins of emojis and humor bits humor that take you out of the mood. But other than that it's quite fun!
Yea I figured that's where the sudden traffic was coming from. Glad you like it. And the humor bits was for me to stand out and I do understand the criticism. Its been told to me the past year and a half since i released these. I hope to be smarter when I do the hobbit trilogy later this year.
Late to the party, but WOW, what a masterful job compiling and editing this cut! I thumbed this up half way through and I NEVER do that, it was just that well done!
OMG-OMG-OMG... I watched this because I missed to have more LotR footage to watch... but I didn't expect having soooo much fun with this... sometimes I was hollering with laughter (e.g. at the Buckleberry Ferry: "C'mon Frodo, RUN - we don't have all day!!"), and sometimes I got teary... this was so great to watch!! I imagine there are sequences of this for the next two parts... looking very much forward to those... 💖
That's why I love watching reaction videos... Seeing other people enjoy it for the first time is as close as we can get to watching it the first time again
I love how every reactor, after an almost 4 hour movie was like "Is that it?" "It can't end yet!" XD Truly a testament to the masterpiece those movies are
I fully believe that Billy Boyd either was told or decided to be that broken up at the end because the whole misadventure was Pippin's fault. There's a reason he's almost in the fetal position after they flee the mines
I have just subscribed. I hope you make a lot more of these. Editing is excellent. #horselivesmatter almost made me choke on my Kraft Dinner. Happy that you included EFAP. Keep 'em coming please.
Hahahaha well I hope you don't choke more on my next 2 videos of lotr which are on the the channel you can go check out. And more of these? 22+ year old masterpiece of a movie and all the visual and practical effects look better than movies being made nowadays.
This trilogy is timeless.
"I asked her for one hair from her golden head, and she gave me three..."
Girls: Haha, what? Why?
Boys: 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Theres actually a bit of history as to why that was a bigger deal than what was shown in the movie. Of the fellowship, only Legolas was savvy enough with the affiars of the elves to know how great of a gesture that was on Galadriels part.
@@joeldykman7591 it's fairly common in medieval times. A lady's favour/lock of hair

Nah it ain't weird at all.
I personally feel the same way, and I think it's the happy little nerd inside us making happy little nerd noises
"I like her. She just scares me."
Best summation of Galadriel. Very concise, accurate, and it's a sentiment that has been shared by fans of the series since the 1950s.
What does one do after 4 hours of LotR?
Another 4 hours of LotR. What can we do against such reckless awesomeness?

😂. That was fun to edit.
people don't know the tradition of Sean Bean dying in almost every movie/series he's in
Like Leomon
Yeah, I've seen 4 movies where Sean Bean's character dies in it; Goldeneye, Lord of the Rings, Equilibrium, and Black Death
Yes, that's true and he played these scenes masterfully every time. I always wished he hadn't died. He's a very good actor, he fits very well into these kinds of roles and when he's playing a hero you buy it immediately. He was best cast for the role of Boromir just like Viggo Mortensen was best cast for Aragorn
Only the character Richard Sharpe is tough enough to get Sean Bean to the end of movie or series.
Apart from Sharpe his football character in "When Saturday comes" is the only one I knows who "sees the credits"
Hi everyone!
I’m a crew member from the trilogy (not the Hobbits), I like to watch these react videos because I get great swellings of pride at how much people are affected by them.
I love the movies still and watch them (extended only of course) at least once a year with my family.
I’m happy to answer any questions that people may have if I’m able , it was a LONG time ago!😂
Much love from NZ, Kia Ora
Well, what role did you play? I'm assuming an orc, maybe an extra? Or were you from behind the scenes?
Was it an enjoyable experience? Any frustrations during filming on your part? Was the pay good?
@@RedFloyd469 I was a crew member and always behind camera. I had a chance to be a Gondor extra at one point, but my technical job needed me back 😔
It was very enjoyable, the cast and crew got pretty close over the long months. I was very young so the money looked good to me 😂
No questions just want to say thank you to you and all the crew these movies came out when I was in my early teens and have been a part of my life ever since.❤
@@zombie_biker1804 my pleasure bro, it makes me feel good to be a part of something that so many people love 👍

Glad you liked them. I'd like to think they are gold with how much work I put into them
I'm having serious flashbacks to watching this back in 2001 at a matinee screening in a crowded theatre, when the audience just WOULDN'T SHUT UP.
Well it was a big movie back then, but yeah audiences getting crazy can be annoying
A freaking matinee? Did every person alive get a day off from work?
I accidentally read, "a manatee screaming in a crowded theatre," yet it still seems appropriate.
If only there was some way that you could watch this movie without reactors
@@katarinadreams6955 Or, it was, y'know... a weekend matinee, lmao
Sounds like when the crows come he says: "Drunkards from Dublin!" Far more frightening than crows imo.

He says "Crebain from Dunland" - Crebain being Ravens. But Drunkards from Dublin deffo would sound better...
@@gr3yh4wk1 And far more frightening...
The three dudes in a discord call were the best I want an uncut version of their reactions lol.
You can find their reactions of all 3 films on Mauler's 2nd Channel "Mooler"
Highly recommend the efap crew, especially their watch alongs.
Yeah they aren't normies, that's part of why they stand out. Haha
MauLer, Rags and Wolf, they're from a podcast called EFAP. Terrific content if you like getting deeply autistic with your movie analysis. And I do mean that as a compliment.
Holy fuck dude that was a well spent 45 minutes. You're hilarious and more. Thanks for this, you've earned a sub. Goddammit I want the rest now.
Glad you enjoyed it! I do my best editing these mashups and this project took me 6 months to make so i poured my heart and soul editing these reactions together. And you wont have to wait for long for the rest. Two Towers is coming this Saturday and Return of the King is Next Saturday. It will be Epic!😎😎😎😎
yes, I've watched all these reviewers separately, but this was well done
Galadriel in this vs ROP is just night and day. She does not yell, give attitude, or spew off titles. Her power and intimidation comes from her presence alone, while still being a genuinely kind being.
I'm doing my best to not watch the show, and I haven't seen enough for full context but what I'm hearing, geez. I'm so glad we have this trilogy.
@@MixMatch53 Its like the writers of RoP had a list of all Galadriel's traits and decided to do the exact opposite of each trait. A complete bastardisation of a wonderful character.
@@ljvwright truly a sad timeline

Well, she did a bit a maturing over an age and a half.
Props for the editing, good humor, and good choice of reactors and individual reactions!
Appreciate it. And I'm planning to do the Hobbit trilogy this year just like this with improvements
As we've seen. Agreed. And the people in the videos warm up to them in my 2 other mashups
That is why
"my friends!...... you bow to no one"
also Pippen is the reason Gandalf went from Gray to White
These films are timeless masterpieces.... Please, no remakes. Leave them as the fine pieces of art they are.
Sadly, since they made like a trillion dollars, they will have to be "rebooted".
“How did you find your way into this man’s cave?” Well, that’s an interesting story…
And that story is coming next year👀👍
Good question. For another time
Imagine if McKay and Payne directed this movie and that scene where Sam drowns and Frodo abandons him saying "The Sea is always right"
😂😂
One of my favorite videos on YT. It shows us that LOTR Is much more than just "the Bible of all nerds". It's a magical, thriving and touching story of adventures, perils, joy and sorrow, friendships, hardships, and so much more.
And to see so many different people watching it while smiling, laughing, crying or getting angry, well... It's just awesome.
Love you all from Italy 🇮🇹❤️💍
"Stop letting Pippin touch things."
Peter Jackson: "Okay."
LOTR: Begins and ends with Fellowship of the Ring
Lol😆😆
excuse me? the Palantir?
I love listening to all their reactions to Pippin’s shenanigans in this movie. I can’t wait until they see his cleverness and brilliance in Two Towers and Return of the King. Also, I do love the clip of Legolas’s terrified gaze when Gandalf says the Moria monster is a Balrog, a demon that was the bane of the Elves in the ancient world. It was the little details like that that will always make this a fantastic series made by true fans who loved the source material.
I love how in the middle of all these reactors genuinely experiencing this awesomeness for the first time, there's EFAP, taking the complete piss out of it
"It appears to be completely solidified cocaine" xD
Well It's not in this edit lol 😂 but I see what you mean.
I wasn't thrilled with the comments and such by EFAP, whoever they are.1
@@justmecarter1717 Don't worry, they love it and have watched it countless times. They are literally watching it live cause they wanted to wash themselves of the filth that was GOT 8.
@@justmecarter1717 You miss a lot of the context in this compilation. They love these movies and are intentionally taking the piss by inventing their own interpretation of the movie. Namely how Gandalf and the hobbits are constantly high (pipeweed, "Kingsfoil ahts a weed", mushroom) and most of what they see are just hallucinations (the Nazgul, Saruman, water horses, turning invisible)

The only bad thing about the show are so-called "fans" like you.
when you watch it the first time, you don't get the kind of desicion Frodo makes when he says that he will get the Ring to Mordor. but whe you see it for a second time, you understand why Gandalf makes that defeated face when he hears him.
Bilbo: "I regret to inform you, that this is the end. I'm going now.... Goodbye." [Vanishes]
Hobbits in movie: [gasp with shock]

A Few Notes on this:
I watch the extended trilogy almost every December.
2:49- 2:50, pipeweed isn't really marijuana, Tolkien actually likens it more to tobacco, as he was fond of smoking pipes.
5:23- 5:27, another name for hobbits is halflings (their name originating 'cause they're half the size of the average human, so we're talking 3- 3'5" more or less)
21:22- 21:26, elves are technically immortal (with the oldest known elf in Tolkien's works being Cirdan the Shipwright at 10741- 11364 years old), though they can be killed
Solid, *solid* freaking editing. Well done.

Because they're Hobbits. They have no context for anything outside of the Shire, except for Frodo.
I just discovered these after seeing the collection for Khazad'dum. These are great to watch, much because I had similar reactions when I first saw the films.
