Being told that using riba would incur the wrath of Allah, was enough for me to stay away from it, but now hearing about the encouragement of productivity, and building up resilience for dealing with risk was truly again enlightening.
If I borrow you $100 for a one year term that can buy 50kg bag of rice. When you pay me my $100 one year later, that bag of rice now cost $105. Have you paid me? The riba we are talking about here is when money was money was gold and silver not this fiat monetary system. Great show!!!
