Any for profit business doesn't kill its cash cows. If a product gets discontinued that means it wasn't bringing them enough profits to justify its existence. It's a pretty simple logic; but seems too hard for the folks who keep complaining about the lack of a RWD and 4x4 Safari. The cost of R&D, new assembly line as well as added complexity to the supply chain to convert the whole lineup or even add the RWD and 4x4 options probably doesn't add up. Would you do it if you were already making bank with FWD models? The OG Safari and Hexa got axed because people weren't buying them. I'm not the target customer for RWD or 4x4 vehicles, but I'd have loved to own a Tata nano, especially an electric one. But no point in lamenting about the demise of a product once we collectively vote for its demise by not buying it, eh? We don't get the products we want because we ourselves signal to the companies that we don't deserve them. It's kind of unrelated to this topic, but the monumentally stupid policies of our government (sub 4m mongrel automobiles, anyone?) and the eye-watering taxes aren't helping the cause either.

Tata should give SAFARI rear wheel drive. Everything else is fine.
Why what is the benefit?
The rear wheel drive will increase the sales by 0.001 percent. Most RWD and AWD fans on the internet are berozgaar
Man plzz talk about the after sales service tooo., cos its really worst and i don't ever recommend tata if we include costumer satisfaction about service., plzzz make a move on the service too🙏
spoke about it at the end
People who do not own Tata are the ones who mostly comment on after sales by hearing from their friend's Uncle's great grandmother who owned a tata car 35 years ago! LOL
Price is gonna go up to atleast 35L for top end making it less value for money even with all the features since it packs the same noisy engine.
Just wait for another year, start an SIP. The new GDI engines should ne exactly what u r looking for. Btw even toyota diesels are noisy
Is it still a front wheel drive
