Arrma Fireteam conversion (Fracture 6s)

- In this video we modify the Fireteam from Arrma into our own style of RC we call the Fracture 6s. Using parts and pieces from other existing Arrma RCs, AJ assembles an off-road RC that should easily compete with the Mojave 6s and 4s as far as speed and handling goes, but this one should have the advantage over the Mojaves' with its rear braking system and jumping capabilities. Come along and check it out as AJ gets into the shop and gets after this build. Will this build work? Will it be worth the money? Will it be an improvement over the original Fireteam platform? Stock body is objectively tougher and allows for self righting. The "nosing down" is fixed by gearing up a couple and moving the batteries back. My FT is still the best RC I've had.
But the body is ugly.

Funny because i see so many people putting after market bodies on it like the proline baja beetle or the 1966 Ford F-100.
I think the stock body is sick myself but I could see wanting to get rid of the extra weight though and they do have some cool options that will fit with a few mods, If I had one I'd probably keep the stock body as a shelf queen and bash it with an optional body.

I'm all for some Frankenstein builds! I do however love my Fireteams. They are way cool to watch run over terrain. I'd say, they aren't intended to be racers or moon senders. Mine aren't anyway. I don't know why people hated the body so much. It's awesome looking.

I don't understand the hate for the fireteam body. It's the wildest looking body imo, and while it is heavy, it has added so much protection to mine. I've had basically zero breaks on this truck except when my buddy took it A-arm first into a tree (you can't blame the truck for that). Love the truck, love the body, prolly my favorite of my rigs.

I agree man, got one also. I always thought it was the 7th scale weight of the FireTeam that people took issue with. Everyone wanted a Kraton XL right?!
Then the Big Rock comes out, weighs more and the tires are pretty useless from what they say... and people don't care because it has a crew cab body!? Because as an american, I don't see enough of those on my daily commute😛.
Awesome. The whole point is to find or create the RC that sings to you. I’m glad you love the stock body. We just wanted something more from ours. I love this hobby. 😎👍
Now that's a Great Build!! I'm getting the Trophy Truck vibe with it!! Chopping up that body is Scary but Well worth it. "Scared $$ Doesn't make $$ !! Can't wait for the running vid of this!! That gives me some ideas for sure. I got a used Fireteam because it was cheap but I don't like the Walmart RC style body. Not sure what I'll use but great content as usual!!

That looks really good. I'm not a fan of the fireteam body but the chassis is supposed to be awesome so a good alternative.
Is that the new studio setup? IF so it looks awesome. Are you OK u gonna do any Corally stuff I'm on the fence about the Kagama I know it's a pretty expensive rig but I know alot of other people's well as myself value your input on a rig before before purchase.KEEP UP GREAT WORK HAPPY HOLIDAYS 3:37
Corally is special order at our local hobby shop, so we don’t do many of those. I do love the build quality of their RCs though. Perhaps we will one day get more in the studio. Thanks for commenting 😎👍

U think the infraction v2 chassis will fit the fireteam. I want to do a 8s fire team n halve batterys on sides vs stacking them on one side for weight valance. Looks nice by the way

The fireteam body with the soldiers is one the coolest things ever. Best body of any RC. Your change ruined it and made it look like every other rc imo. To make it fly better just move the battery tray more posterior and slow down the rear shocks rebound with 1300 cst oil. Problem solved
You could probably build a 1/10 scale version with ease too, maybe use a typhon 6s chassis or even the 3s, thr new mojave 4s tires

But I focused on the Vorteks, the sleeper. Once you get the BIg Rock arms, links on and optional 17mm hex from the Typhon you have a truly amazing speedster going 60+ mph. Add a Hobbywing 10bl120 g2 game over it’s a winner!
