Many people think of the Bachkovo waterfall, the one we see at the restaurant next to the souvenir shops. However, you can see it a little above the monastery, on the road where thousands of pilgrims carry the miraculous icon every Easter.
The so-called eco trail is extremely pleasant, you walk mainly in the shade, there are fountains, picnic areas and of course the beautiful Rhodope views.
So, if for some reason you have not been to the Bachkovo Monastery, it is time to make that trip and walk among nature.
