    Personally, this is your best video yet. Packed full of fantastic tips, all linked together in succinct package.
    And networking is everything! Another great place to network is coffee shops. Most people have a regular cafe and baristas know their clients. If baristas can connect people it works in their favour too, so I make a point of connecting with a few of the local coffee shops, in person and over Insta, just to keep my name out there.

    This is so helpful. And alas, I also have to choose between cycling and photography. Everything in it's place...

    I think I've been binging your vids for the last few months, yep they're out there and funny enough either the light bulb has just gone off or most of your greatest points are in this one vid'. I'm a three decade'r (if that's a word) and plus some, you have a refreshing enthusiasm, well done! Maybe I started at the wrong end (well that doesn't sound right), you may have to go back and flip your content because it's still relevant.

    One thing I like abou tyou Scott. You are real and speak the very bluntly. I can relate and the content you share and put out is very, very useful. Keep them coming my friend. I believe you are down the road from me. I would love to have a genuine chat sometime 🙂

      @@TinHouseStudioUK Yes for me it's now like running short on all aspects of building a business, there are not enough hours in a day to get it all done, I need te get a good time management system going and a priority list. for now, it feels like I'm drowning in things todo. I work 8 hours on my day job and 10 more to get my business going. the big grind. No don't get me wrong I'm not complaining here ... it's more the start of panicking.

    Hey Scott, great video and came away with a lot of notes. Quick question: When it comes to contacting Ad Agencies, who is the decision maker that we should be going for? Thanks :)

    • @jamestcallahanphotographer
      @jamestcallahanphotographer 2 роки тому

      Having worked at a full-service agency you want to get to the Creative Director. Anyone below that doesn’t make any decisions. Ultimately, The CEO of the company is the best place if you can get a hold of them because then they’ll send you to the Creative Director or other VP, and then that person has to act having been requested to speak and/or meet with you directly from the top.
