If you actually engaged with what he’s saying instead of resorting to childish name-calling, you might realize he’s raising important points backed by extensive research. It wasn't "chance", the US, GB and other countries given their assurances in granting security to Ukraine, however, they didn't bother abiding to their assurances, and stated that word "assurances" doesn't mean anything. Ukraine was young, naive and optimistic country back then, so they believed in "assurances"
The debate completely overlooked the fact of Russia breaking the assurances set out in the Budapest memorandum. If a way is not found to provide a cast iron guarentee of Ukraine's sovereignty into the future, the Ukrainians may resort to making their own nuclear weapons. @@wivax9784 It’s interesting to hear perspectives like Wesley Clark’s, but let’s not ignore the historical context. NATO expansion, while framed as a defensive measure, was perceived by Russia as a threat-a concern acknowledged even by Western leaders at the time. It's so nice to watch/listen to show where you can learn/understand what they are saying without people trying to talk over one another.
It rarely happens here 😂😂
So true. I watched the one with Destiny and the brunette mouthy chick a couple of days ago - both of which never allow a conservative voice to be heard completely without interrupting them - and I had to fast forward many times because I can't stand listening to that kind of noise.
Huh.
Sure, but most of the time that's not what this show is and not what it tries to be. It's basically a politcal discourse version of the Jerry Springer Show.

General was great and informative and so good to hear that girl speaking as someone on the ground who lost her father. It’s personal. But we are where we are and ALL sides need to be heard. "THAT GIRL" is a woman. Your terminology is condescending.
Why are they not talking about the Minsk agreements?
Agreements don't apply to certain countries.
They were never implemented, Russian separatists continued with offensive actions and the two sides continued fighting until it naturally died down.
Why would they? Russians/separatists continued to fight (attack) in spite of the armistice. They never intended to apply it (while requiring that Ukrainians do)! Russia never keeps its word.
