Pretty privilege doesn't exist without a "dominant" context.
      Example:
Highest paid Male model (0 surgery) $1.5m/y
Highest paid Female model (K. Jenner, all the surgery and then some) $24m/y
      See what I mean?

I hear them debate back and forth about why she was able to fool so many. They name the clothes, the Gucci bag and the Hermes purse. Get real and see the obvious. Besides being educated and well spoken, she’s a beauty. Far prettier than just an average girl. Pretty women are treasured and cared for in almost all societies. They get free stuff all the time from adoring men. Even other women treat them better. She was the right person to make this work. She deserves the praise for figuring this out.

Its not exactly a hard thing to figure out, the same way a chad or rich man is valued because he either looks like a super model or has lots of money.
Men have to build themselves up, while women start with high value. Women's value goes down overtime so they have to take advantage of their pretty privilege's, while men win over time if they build themselves up.
She can only pull this off for so long, she will need to find a partner soon because she wont be able to fool people like this forever.

I' m glad she documented it and remember reading about this when she first did it. However when it comes to being a socialite she overlooked the "social" part completely. There are a few cases of young women completely enriching themselves through posing as a member of high society. . they build a network of high society people and suddenly they are just accepted and sometimes are able into lucrative deals. The only ones you hear about in the headlines are the ones who get exposed.

There are 2 problems with the conclusion" 1. That she pulled the stunt off on her own when the clip explicitly shows that the main reason is because she has friends in high places. If she fails to realize this, then the person who is fooled most by her is herself. 2. That people (esp. hotel and retail workers) were all fooled because they believe she is a socialite; while this may be true to a point, it is also possible that some of them actually felt sorry for her and genuinely just wanted to help. To see everyone as being class-conscious and pandering to the rich completely ignores our humanity - that is how jaded the world has become.

@andrwng you are very correct without the borrowing of the friend's high end custom clothing (making her look rich). The other friend's boarding ticket (Allowing access to the high end airport lounge), and another friend's Auction Invite. Without her friends none of this would have been possible. While, she did buy clothing to complete her look. Later, she was able to return the clothing and get her money back. Zara isn't really that expensive not the same a Gucci. Plus, the items were returned and she didn't actually use the money. Just needed the initial cost of one item.
Plus, the staff at one of the restaurant's actually did feel terrible for her. She claimed to have been stood up on a date. So everyone felt the need to make her feel better and gave her free deserts and other treats.
I would like to see this repeated without the custom clothing (borrowed from a friend), without the boarding pass (borrowed from a friend), without the Auction Invite (borrowed from another friend). Of course, she is also young and pretty so there are very many advantages with that as well.
A more interesting experiment as other have suggested, would have been someone older and not attractive.

Plus shoes are the closest to the ground so it gets dirty easily so if you have nice, clean shoes, it can say a lot about how you take care of stuff.
