Clickbait
@ken parvu clibait :/
They embellish the titles on a bunch of their videos. It's called clickbait.
@@kenparvu3681 From the recent information I've gathered it's called Click Bait you guys.
Whoever wrote the in-video captions for this episode apparently doesn't know the difference between $1500 and $15,000 and $4400 and $44,000. I would suggest that whoever decides on hiring caption writers for these needs to make sure the person is a bit smarter about numbers.
correct , so confusing
exactly!!!!lmao i noticed that off the top smh
Yea it pretty bad, I've said this before on other videos from other channels and someone said that it's most likely AI generated, something I didn't even think about but it makes sense.
Yep
Also "amber type" vs. "ambrotype". I made it to 7:20 in the video before deciding to just quit watching this clickbait garbage. This channel deserves no views and no Likes.
“That’s an insult to the Pez community” 😂
The PEZ community is coming out in droves over this crisis
This guy was laying the New Yorker heavily on the guys,it doesn't show it in this clip but in the entire version he refers to the condition of the Pez collection as "Gino" ha ha ha ha ha, i have seen this episode like 10 times but it never gets old.
i wouldn't call this insane fights maybe mildly heated disagreements.
clickbait
YES, thumbs down....clickbait.
@@ElderRaven Same....thumbs down for clickbait
Maybe don't watch content from the guy whose racket prior to spamming pawn stars compilations was spamming lists of game titles to SEO poach his low effort nonsense.
More like, callow adolescent pouting exhibit.
A Million bucks for a photograph the guy must be dreaming
I had a guy try to sell me a first edition book of the Wizard of Oz. Wanted a million bucks. The highest I found was 27k and it was signed. Those dollar signs dropped like tears when I told him
If I wanted to sell something valuable I sure as hell wouldn't bring it to a hock shop!
right? dang fools
$4,440 and 44,000 are about the same LOL (on the Ceasar coin)
I noticed that too. And 1500 and 15000 aren’t the same either.
Man there are some real turkeys out there!
I remember actually seeing the episode where that dope tried selling his "Lincoln" photo for a million bucks, and the first thing I said immediately was, "That's Not Lincoln". Lol! Then, he had the nerve to argue with the expert. What a donut!😂
I love it when people say they'll take twice what the specialists say they're worth then act like they think any pawn shop in the entire world is even gonna offer them more than $20 for anything. Like they've never been to an actual pawn shop in their lives.
This thumbnail is SO misleading. I’ve watched Pawn Stars since their inception. Never have I seen anyone took to jail and say “take him”. Let along in this video. Good video but very misleading thumbnail.
I want a followup for all these people that thought they had something worth thousand upon thousands, and find out where they are today and if they sold their item.
OMG this was insane, especially when that one old customer sucker punched Rick in the face and he kept bleeding from his nose looking like he was Budd Dwyer. Other fights were just as insane but they forgot to include one of the more famous clips of Rebecca having to pull a gun to defend herself.
Insane click bate😡
Did 2 if not 3 of the professional appraiser's get into trouble for pulling scams, I believe the grill that appraised the books was one of them?
@@jimstewart5008 Yes but I heard it was that slick autograph appraiser and that young gun appraiser. I really want to believe Rebecca is an angel as she seems to be so sweet.
@@altohippiegabber that's what I heard as well and yes she was cute and seemed knowledgeable but I still think she was involved in something but I could be wrong, I wouldn't trust an expert based on the the buyer's word if I was selling anything, you would be better off getting it appraised yourself. That's like buying a used car from a dealership and having their mechanic do the inspection
Bud Dwyer, yeah that was effed up.
Guy thinks he can easily get $200K for his guitar but wants to sell it to Rick for $100K. Such a sweet guy, must be a fan of the show.
On sale by the same guy on Reverb for 111 000$
I can't wait for the next vid that shows all these arguments again in a slightly different order
I miss this show!
A great one was when a junk yard "mechanic" tried to sell a Porsche motor that was all rusted out for $1000's , and Danny from Counting Cars had to tell him the motor was junk But the junk yard mechanic kept insisting the motor was valuable and Danny wasn't a real mechanic.
It's funny when someone says "you can put these on the internet and make your money back". Then why don't you put them on the internet and make the money if it is that easy?
Guy with the Lamborghini clock was actually pretty reasonable
If Rick didn't have all these 'expert' friends, he would be living in an old rv.
Sounds like this is coming from someone who is living in a van down by the river. Takes one to know one.
Or a van by the river.
The classic Chris Farley character from Saturday Night Live
Whoever did the captions on this video were clearly mistaken with the price/numbers part of it 😆🤣😂 I mean how did we go from $4,400 to $44,000 😅? The guy speaking plus the recording were clearly giving the right information. I am so lost right now.... but laughing so hard at the same time with all the discrepancies in the text of this video! 😄😆🤣😂 This made my day thanks so much!
Sloppy all the way around. He also said that the Lamborghini was the first car to go 200 KPH instead of 200 MPH. 200 KPH is about 125 MPH, and that speed record was broken around 1950.
The Lincoln photograph one is my favorite lol “I’m the one they’ll be coming to soon” just straight arrogance
The guy with the blue guitar, if you close your eyes.... you are literally listening to Robert Downy Jr.
Is this program still going or as it finished. 🇬🇧🇯🇲👍
😮the coin one was bit suss Rick on the ball
Makes sence to me that the insurance seller carries a shot gun and not a briefcase I'd feel better being robbed by a shot gun rather than the briefcase 😂
Pawn shops rip everyone off. He brings in someone else because he needs extra people to help him get things cheap. It's that simple. All pawn shops low ball you, sell just below brand-new price. Some here in Florida sell higher than new price.
They should've made a deal on that Caesar coin.
I was thinking the same thing.. He got low balled
Why are the prices blurred out?
@19:20.
Look I love this show and all the guys. But when Corey says that the way they made Damascus Steel was by taking wire and wrapping it around the barrel and beating it in. Sorry Corey, that isn't how Damascus Steel was made.
The way true Damascus Steel was made is lost in history. There are a couple or people that have come close. In 2006 there was a German company that was able to map the metal and some of the metals that were used. You would think after this the secret would be no more, right? Nope, the secret is still in the metal and we may never know how they did it.
To Jason Webb: Thank you! I thought none of that sounded right when Corey said it.
Actually Damascus blades are still made today it is a 5 step process using two types of metal high carbon steel and steel with nickel alloying.
I wonder how Abe and Mary sounded when they were" getting it on" ?
"INSANE FIGHTS" headline is a DECEPTION. No one got punched out.
#1, How many of those "customers" who are "not happy" with a decision to not buy, are not paid for their appearance on camera? #2 Who goes to a pawn shop expecting to receive full price?
Where was the fight that needed security guards to break it up?
seller : my gun is unique and old
Pawn : how much??
seller : 100k !!!
expert : $1k or less . . . 😂😂😂
"I'm an expert, and I say you give me 10 billion dollars for it!" Riiiiiiight Even if they are legitimately an expert on the item; what kind of professional has never heard of a conflict of interest? Also the fact that it may be *worth* an amount, but if you can't find anyone to pay that amount; you may as well be living in fantasy land.
Think about this concerning those lance's. The guy was trying to push them on the fact that they were flimsy!
Insult to the pez community 😅
There is actually about 30 known collectors in the USA
@@buster4926 🤣
These customers are upset because they can't get their stuff to sell for what they want on ebay, so they are taking their frustration out on the pawn stars.
I missed the scene that got me to come here. Thought somebody was at least escorted out or arrested.
@7:20 Narrator says 44 hundred, screen pops up as 44 thousand 😖
the mosley guitar sold for $107,000 on reverb..
That IS a gorgeous guitar though! Absolutely gorgeous! Wonder how heavy it is...how much it weighs and what kind of natural sustain it has...I've got to look this one up...
Love this show 💯🔥👋👍🎊👏💪👋
Pez community? And what's a "Tucci "? 🤣
How much for old Mags of " Big Ums " From Al Bundys Collection ?
Bro doesn’t realize that km/h and mph aren’t the same thing you can’t just switch them around
18:08 "I gotta find a Lamborghini fan and I gotta find a really expensive clock collector," IDGAF, that has nothing to do with me!
I have a pawn but these transactions happened only in movies.
$5 for the pez $10 for the guitar $1 for the necklace $5 for the sword $.75 for the clock $15,000 for the shotgun.
Show is unwatchable without Rebecca..
at i9:00, i would have call the cops seeing shotgun aimed at customers
Define "fight" vs "disagree"
I'm surprised Rick got fooled by the Abe and Mary fake. They don't really look like the Lincolns at all, based on many well known photos, especially of Abraham. They just look like a generic couple from the 1800s, along with the guy having a similar beard to Abe's.
I agree and I was wondering the same thing who ever is posting the numbers do not know the difference between hundreds and thousands😜wow
Anyone who has seen a photo of Abraham Lincoln, knows that the guy in the photo isn't Abe.
That one guy can’t afford a haircut but wants $100k for a supposedly gold necklace? No someone like that doesn’t own expensive stuff 😮
'An insult to the Pez community'............class.
Hudson Bay was established in Canada in 1670 (in the province now known as Ontario), not "London". If you don't know where it is from don't buy it. If you are going to sell it, know its correct history.
Wrapping wire around a steel block with wire is NOT how you make demascus steel
@@Rovingdog628 Manufacture involved a secret carburization process in which a form of wrought iron was heated to red heat in contact with various carbonaceous materials in closed vessels.
Wire Damascus exists, and that particular barrel, was produced that way. Corey is correct.
@@swettyspaghtti thank you sir.
Fights look like arguments to me.
He looking for that million.
there's no way in the world i'd let cory buy anything from me... he lowballs people just to try to show up his dad... if he came to wait on me... i'd leave and come back later to try to get rick...
The short pistol expert did undercut the customers! If you want an item you have to take into account what the person that has it had to do to get it not just the retail value. Rick had him on the payroll for sure!
What the seller had to do in order to procure an item, is of no concern to the buyer.
@@58sportsuburban So if you are selling an item you should not be able to charge expenses like shipping and handling? Every retailer does it you ignorant person! The pawn shop had over head so they did it! What a DA!
Abraham Lincoln...$1,000,000 million dollarz
guy with caesar coin sold it at auction for 27,900 recently. I think the experts are wrong
Insane fights!? More like Insane tiffs!
it was all based on emotional attachment to something they didn't want and thats confusing hence the fighting
😂I Didn't see no fist 🤜 flying
see some of my stuff u better bring some monet it's a museum
funny how people are blinded by greed. They don't understand wholesale and retail price difference. They believe if they see their thing on the internet and the price tag, they think that it was actually sold for that price or was even sold.
He should have gone to ebay with his necklace
Ricks mother is sueing him.
You told us at least 4 times how he made a plea deal
Id say the shotgun worth way more than they offered id leave 2
You’re re Airing so many other content makers, content.
theres a lot of taps
@7:19 Asks $4,400...displays $44,000
At the 8:10 mark, the voice-over says $1,500 dollars, but the screen caption says $15,000 dollars. So which is it??!!!
The Caesar coin the seller was fair, where can I buy these for that price? I'll buy all day long for that price. When I was a kid, my favorite baseball card couldn't be found for less than $1600; in 2019 I bought all I could find for 100-700 depending one centering and condition. If he told me it was $200 and I hadn't seen those prices, asking 'where can I get them that cheap' is fair. Sadly, the Caesar coin is rare but the market price is what it is; best bet is leaving the price at asking on ebay will likely get a sale eventually.
Why did they censor the asking price
No fights here 😮
7:19 I think he got 4,400 dollars mixed up. Then again @ 8:10
just cut the part of rick explain the history of the objet in the next video. i want to see fights. just in my opinion
1500 is plenty!!!
I havent seen an insane fight yet.
Any offer in good faith is an offer. There is no such thing as a low ball offer. No one's holding a gun to anyone's head.
The mistakes in the video are always intentional. So everyone comments and they get more money when they say words wrong or print things wrong EVERYONE comments.😅
I thought you said fight.
This is like the greatest clickbait of the last years, there is NOTHING from the title, miniature or description on the actual video, mass report this for clickbait guys
They use clickbait on most of their videos
Abraham Lincoln, lol, yeah maybe after he shrunk about a foot,Lincoln was a very distinguished looking man, this guy in the picture looks like he could have been in Planet of the Apes.
The guy putting down the lady appraiser should have been thrown out. I am surprised that rick didn't do anything.
This episode is actually ten years old. That very man is the premiere expert in the field, and no one remembers her name.
😂🤣😂
Can ask for what you think it's worth but only worth what it sells for
At one point in the video you say the Caesar coin is worth $44,000 (Flashes in bright green) and in fact the show says several times it's $4,400. No disrespect meant but get it straight as people may repeat what they see vs what they hear.
Thanks for the video other than that well done!
abe lincoln dude was outta his mind and so butt hurt lol
At the end that guy was ready to cry about his stupid mid evil weapons that are worthless I wouldn't give him 50 cents for all 3 of his swords and I would of called him a punk.
You can tell that it is not Abraham Lincoln or his wife in that picture just by their face LOL
The woman looked the same
The guy with the Lincoln faux photo was a total schmuck..
How's it a unbiased opinion when he calls in his "friend" to appraise it.
Says $1500 but displays $15,000
someone doesn't understand that 4,400 is not 44,000 and 1,500 is not 15,000
