Great lesson, thank you. What do you think about triads and chord inversions? Are they useful in improvisation? And if yes, then where would you start to get ideas about using them?
Yes. They are very useful. Here's a fun game: take any triad. Slide into any note from one or two frets back. Play another note in the same triad. It sounds good 9/10 times and helps establish the chord progression
@@mandohat I don't get how to play this game, tried with my guitar step by step, but I'm confused. Let's say I play A major triad, then play the note "d", which is two steps lower than "e". What's next?
For me, new to bluegrass, but not guitar, these tools are more natural to my ear, and fingers, than just 1/8 notes by themselves. It's like going for swim while on a boat trip, I kind of want to keep the boat close by.
Wow! Wow!!! I love listening to you, seeing how you pull all of that up and execute it so well.
Very nice lesson on double stops

Do you have an online video course available for a monthly rate? Your an exceptional player and teacher aswell
I don't, unfortunately. It would be a long-term goal, but there's quite a bit to putting something like that together.
