4:10 Is there any other option than manual modifications if you actually want 1 mm chamfer here instead of accepting the 0.15 mm champfer that Fusion 360 can support by default?
I also previously came from Tinkercad and manually chamfered my edges. FDM prints are really weak around right angled corners, so filleting and chamfering adds a great deal of strength to the print and is a super useful tool. Thanks for the vid!
Excellent video. Please keep them coming. I am learning so much from you. Fusion is my first take at any CAD program. I'm waiting on my printer. I think it was good to have to wait for the printer while I master the program.
From the best I can figure Fillet like you fillet a fish would be the correct pronunciation in American English. We are weird tho. We do things differently than everyone else lol. We're the rebels. Great videos btw thanks very much!
+Макс Hi! I've been thinking about starting to do those again as well as some Arduino stuff. If I can come up with an interested topic, I'll definitely do that! I appreciate the feedback!
after you said fillet like a you were in a kitchen I had to stop watching. cant take you seriously if you dont know how to pronounce the technical terms
You should not criticize this young man. I am an Electrical Engineer learning CAD so I can do my own 3D Printing models. I have learned more from this young lad than the other beginner tutorials from the experts who leave out the basics. He is smart enough to know what beginners need and is teaching those Technics. So he does not know the technical term for Fillet so what. We all come to UA-cam not for a grammar lesson. We come to pick up knowledge.
In engineering and welding context it's pronounced 'FIL-it'. 'fil-AY' is used in culinary applications.
Depends where you live. In the UK & Ireland it’s fill-it.
My favorite tutorial series for fusion by far, clear and to the point with easy to follow steps! thank you

Dude, you're videos are AWESOME! Short and straight to the point with no fluff. Thank you so much!
Excellent work, really appreciate all your help!
I'm having trouble replicating what you do @ 3:30. I can only fillet in I can't blend outward.
Ensure you are using one body, not two.
These videos are so helpful, this program was a little daunting, but now I understand it and am making my first model.

I cant get the fillet to blend two faces, rather only go the opposite direction where it cuts in to the perpendicular face.
love this series!!!
Is there a way to edit a fillet after its been created?
I'm having problems with the filet comand since the update it wants to undercut where two extruded bodys meet. I can't get the arrow to turn around.
I think I had the same issue as you did. Question: are they two separate bodies? I joined mine then I was able to Fillet them the way I wanted.
hi how are you,,,,,, can you explain or make a tutor of how to fix Error: The fillet/chamfer could not be created at the requested size.
Could you explain how to dimension a 45 degree bevel that turns (between X,Y,Z orthographic planes) in fusion 360?

If I wanted to 3D Print this I have to export as STL first right
Thanks for the videos, look around at many turorials, I think you maked the best ones.
Is there SRFillet like in Alias?
It's a brilliant cad 360
how can i milling a rounded chamfer /fillet without a Corner Rounding End Mill, can pls make cam tutorial pls...
I have a sketch that I need to extrude it and then the top edges have to be rounded. but m not able to fillet it. shows so many error messages.
Great tutorial. Gets to the point.
Very helpful
I just came from jwall. Great videos. You are very good at 3d modeling. :)
+Panoreth 3D Printing Awesome! I'm a big fan of jwall as well :). And thank you! I appreciate the feedback. :)
Great tutorial, I learned very much in just a few minutes 👍
Fantastic tutorial, thank you for sharing the knowledge!
thanks!

Nah I'm English and I say it like that
Wow so the T is basically silent in Britain? Like Filay
@@bdragon254 No, as in we say it with the 'T'. This is too easy to get wires crossed here hahahaha
:D :D Yea its TOUGH to convey pronunciation especially when it comes to British English VS American English. LOL but we have it sorted out now.
As this talk of filets made me hungry.
Fantastic! :-)
Thankyouuu
Hey, HI!
I really miss your coding videos, please make a least one in 2-3 months )
ThankYou

They are carpentry terms
FILLAAAAAY LOL

indeed, it's not Fusion 360 that calls it a "fillet", is all of mechanical engineering: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fillet_(mechanics)

yes but how do u edit it after youve finished doing them? say you want to change the fillet amount
