Having done this before, Japan is great for this because china war + national focuses giving bonuses. Also the cap is -90% reduction, 0 supply is unfortunately not possible, but that means big powerful divisions benefit more from this, as 90% of something like 3 is far more than 90% of 1. Also combat width will kneecap after a while so high supply high stats (That's tanks) is the best. RT56 is also good as the added logistics companies give more reduction later game
This strategy is literally the point of the oft-maligned Deep Operation doctrine. People really underestimate value of lower supply consumption and lower battalion width.
I imagine Medals just being a boss finally realising that their employee is good at something and then specifically using the employee for those types of tasks. Basicly "Mhm, I now see that you are very good at logistics. In this case, I will send you less equipment, since you can preserve the ones you get better than others."
At first, Paulus refused to collaborate with the Soviets. However, after the attempted assassination of Hitler on 20 July 1944, he became a vocal critic of the Nazi regime, joining the Soviet-sponsored National Committee for a Free Germany which appealed to Germans to surrender. In response, Germany put his wife as well as his daughter Olga von Kutzschenbach into Sippenhaft. He later acted as a witness for the prosecution at the Nuremberg Trials. He was allowed to move to the German Democratic Republic in 1953, two years before the repatriation of the remaining German POWs. So yeah paulus was pretty cool
You're low-key trolling at 6:44 General List is lvl2 and already has 3 logistics, so even if Paulus gets his normal stat-up for lvl 2 into Logistics AND hits the 50:50 for the extra +1 Log and Planning he still only ends up as a lvl 2 with 3 logistics Edit: He even has Inflexible Strategist which makes him even more likely to roll logistics as his normal lvl up stat
It’s funny, your general by the end of the war was the first field marshal to be captured alive after he was encircled in Stalingrad, the same day he surrendered he was promoted to field marshal, at that time no German field marshal had surrendered or been captured alive. Hitler simply wanted him to kill himself or fight to the last man, he instead defied that and surrendered the tattered remains of the German sixth army. He’s now remembered for surrender but he did fight during the First World War and led offensives in both France and Poland before
your next video could be getting thousands of divisions as the soviets cause when you use a certain poster that decreases max training by 10 plus mass assault means 0 training required to deploy divisions

For the being designed by one company but produced by another, that happened all the time in WWII, for example the engine for the Sherman was designed by Wright as a bomber engine, but Continental produced dozens of times more of the engine to put them in Shermans
Oof, 1939 planes with < 600 range :(. I guess in the really small air zones with relatively small plane counts, it's effective. .09 supply per div is incredible, 3 supply will cover dozens of divisions like that (aka local city supply will often be sufficient). Even with multiplicative stacking, it seems you can push it quite far if you want! Another interesting modifier is "non-combat out of supply", which you can stack commando trait + mass assault right to greatly reduce the penalties. Pairs quite nicely with extra supplies command ability + taking one of the special forces general traits that gives 240h extra supply; not only do they get > 10 days supply grace then, but they keep moving well even after that grace is up. Very effective for big SP encirclements if you micro it, while the production to set it up is minimal.

13:23 This is totally something you can take advantage of if you're playing the Soviet Union. The USSR has a tank MIO (the Tank Refurbishment Pant) that has INSANE production bonuses but not many bonuses for the tank's combat stats. So what I like to do is use one of the other MIOs to design and research the tank and modules for combat stats (typically the Fast Tank Designer or Medium Tank Designer) but then use the Tank Refurb MIO to actually run the production line. It does spread the funding out a little. The Refurb plant will get plenty of funding from producing the tank so I will allocate all the research bonuses into the other MIO.
