Maybe let it warm up a bit or pick up oil 😅
You never had a chevy before. I got a 99 1500 reg cab long bed 4x4 5.3 vortec and rev tap that bitch cold start in 40 degree Ohio weather. Long as it's not under load moving the vehicle I say its cool. Hell I shift mine into lower gears into 2nd and go 65-70mph and let it backfire like hell😂😂 go drive ur f150 and stay quiet ❤️
@@masonmcnabb2429Fr I got a 89 350 tbi throw the hoe in first get going a good 30-40 let off woo baby she’s popping like a ak
@@Slow_OBS damn 40 in first😂😂 especially if you cut the pipes short them fuckers shoot.
I got long tubes man might have to swao lol! Thats a nascar quality scream. Previous owner stole the true duals 💔
Excuse my language but holy shit, do you have a link to where you got all that stuff
Got i want that setup
I also had a truck with true dual straights nothing but pipe with long tube headers. I was just wondering if it’s any louder or the same or not as loud with shortys and nothing but pipe
😮😮😮
Sounds pretty good, but a little clapped out on the sound.
@@ryanmilburn7062 yeah, I left the cat on mine a put a small muffler on it.
this is the straight piped rice burner of the truck world, loud, annoying, sounds like hot steaming garbage. Like a small dog, all bark no bite.
how much
Same one different color
Hey bud sorry to bother you I got just one last question for u I talked to about it this in the past but your gonna be my final decision. So I had a buddy that I got these short tube headers from for dirt cheap and there very nice headers he didn’t need them and gave them to me for 50 bucs so I couldn’t go wrong either way. I talked to u in the past how headers were definitely a sound upgrade for noise over manifolds and that shortys wernt a hell of a lot different sound for the money and easy install. I told u how I have longtubes and love them on my 350 voretec but my vortec is a lot louder at high Erving or anything past 2000 rpm with the long tubes. Some people claim manifolds give u that crushing along in town louder pop than headers do cause at low speeds there more restrictive than headers. What I’m curious about is I also have the a tbi 350 with manifolds and straights and it pops really good loud at low speeds and not as loud when on the throttle like my vortec 350. So what I’m wondering is with shorty headers and complete staiihht pipe did u loose some of that tbi low end narly loud pop and crackle cause there’s less restriction with short headers or is it jsut tbis soind like that and have that low narly crackle. If it still maintained that low pop and hard to keep quiet at low speeds like tbis are Than I’m gonna go with shorties. Only thing I’m afraid of is ditching the manifolds and it’s totally different cause I like that about my tbi how it’s so loud and deep at low barely on the throttle my vortec with longtuebs isn’t liek that but it’s deadly past 2000 rpm. So I’m wondering if it’s a header thing that makes that change or are tbis just loud at low speeds I’m hoping they are cause then I’ll grow with shorties. Please get back to me last time I’ll bother jsut want some feedback cause every motor sounds different and maybe that’s what it is or it’s what someone told me that Manifolds are louder at low speeds??? Thank you!!!
Adam Chevy hey man just saw this your definitely still gonna have that deep low end narly crackle you love going to shortys from manifolds to this day I still rather go shortys then long tubes if I had to go back and do it all over again shortys is the way to go you will not be disappointed
Have you ever had true dual straight pipes with shorty headers no mufflers and no cats. I see you had it true dual straight pipe no mufflers and no cats with longtube headers in another video. I’m just wondering what shorty headers sound like with nothing but pipe
Adam Chevy there’s not much of a difference in my opinion sound wise I cut the cats off an ran the shortys for a wile until I dropped the new engine in
Ryan Milburn awesome appreciate it. I was just wondering because being I had a truck once straight piped before with long tube headers. Loud as hell but loved how it sounded. I’m more familiar with long tube headers but I have this other truck now and I have straights true duals no cats no mufflers now but it has manifolds and of course I want it a little louder again like I had before with headers. But I figured if the shorties are pretty much just as loud I wouldn’t mind going shorties rather than haste with having to install long tubes. Shorties I hear are a lot easier to install plus less money
Adam Chevy shortys we’re absolutely easier to install when I put the new motor in I kinda went all out so that’s why I got the long tubes I wouldn’t get em again I would just get shortys
Ryan Milburn awesome ya I’m just gonna get shorties because it’s funny to say but I’m not even after the power they make I’m only interested in how they make a pickup louder over manifolds. And now from what you said about the shorties giving that practically same sound as longtubes give I’m so glad I asked an opinion cause I’m only after the sound. And don’t want to mess with putting a longtubes back on again. Thanks again!
However I will admit I love the sound difference you get from plan old manifolds to headers. Headers seem much louder
How a truck should sound
There's a huge difference between true dual exhaust with the crossover, compared to just cutting mufflers off and running straight pipe back! This truck just sounds like he lost his muffler on the tracks or hit a pothole.
Is egr deleted?
Hard to beat the sound of a true dual tbi 350.
Only way to do so is carb swap it 😅
SOUNDS LIKE ANY OLD CAR THAT LOST A MUFFLER! AND NOW THE WHOLE NEIGHBORHOOD WILL HAVE TO PUT UP WITH SPEED RACER, TILL HE GETS A TICKET! REMEMBER HOW YOUR CAR TURNED INTO A SUPER HIGH PERFORMANCE RACE MACHINE WHEN THAT RUSTY MUFFLER FINALLY FELL OFF!
