I tested my light wattage and system wattage by using the Kill-A-Watt device. Measure the system wattage when the system is running. Measure light wattage by disconnecting the water pump. Take the system wattage minus the light wattage to get the water pump wattage. Yes, you will find Aerogarden is true to fact, maybe a little higher wattage in some systems.
Great video, thank you for all your tips! Tomatoes: Tiny Tim work out great in hydroponics, the plants are quite robust and healthy. I can also recommend „Tomfall“ (Amzn), plants stay small and fruits have more flavor than Tiny Tim (at least in my opinion). Peppers: California Wonder is a great variety, good growth and good yield, but beware of bugs, i lost all my pepper plants due to a pest infestation. Sometimes bugs can come in through open windows. Radishes: they are great! They grow so fast and i enjoy watching them grow. And the hydroponic radishes taste a lot better than the stuff from the supermarket. Flowers: your petunias are so beautiful! I think i am going to try that out.
Thanks for another great video. What a wonderful resource you are for the hydroponic community. Your videos are always so well produced and entertaining. Thanks so much. Happy Aerogardening. 😊
Great video!! Thanks for posting it! Leads to better success for newer people to the hobby. I have also tried to grow many varieties over the years and as you have experienced, many don’t work out in these small hydroponic systems and leads to frustration. This type video helps people decide what to grow with the knowledge that it has been grown by more experienced gardeners (again in these type small hydroponic garden systems) that will give them a much better chance of success.
Very helpful, thank you! I've been growing Black Seeded Simpson lettuce, it's one of my favorite varieties outdoors. I've harvested from it many times from my hydroponic system, but we're a little over 2 months in now and they've gone bitter. I'm going to try the Parris Island Cos.
I just wanted to thank you. I was gifted my first Mufga and started watching your very, very informative videos. I love that you are straight to the point, along with updates in the same video. I purchased a second Mufga, while my first tiny Tim's and potapeno are flowering along with harvests of lettuce and radishes. Have grown starters that are now outdoors already. Your excitement is contagious so thanks again!
I'm growing two Crossandra right now from seed because of the video you did about that plant. Thye are only about 4 inches tall right now, so no flowers, but the glossy dark green leaves are really nice. I'm trying out some Ganzia - African Daisies, no blooms yet but I like the way the leaves look. I also have an aerogarden growing marigolds right now. They look really nice but honestly, the flowers smell like cat urine indoors...I do have two cats so if someone came over they would assume it's the cats but it isn't.
I’ve recently discovered sorrel, and I’m growing some in Kratky jars with arrow garden pods I would like you to try and see what you think… so far I don’t think sorrel is that productive, but it’s incredibly tasty
Yeah, I am currently growing Broadleaf Sorrel in Mufga 12-pod system and it is coming nice. I also tried Red Veined Sorrel in the past in Aerogarden Harvest and it worked out great. ua-cam.com/video/xtwZhrr_YO8/v-deo.html
i think Tatsoi is the best ever. it is un-killable. many time i have run the water dry, forgot to add nutrition for a long time and everything. Tatsoi is good good. on the other hand i have 20~ plant of tiny tim and it is very finicky. they are always dying and the tomato taste nothing.
Thanks so much! I'm so new to the hydroponic community. I own two IDOO 12 pod growers. I am still learning to plan and pay attention. I started two Micro Tom tomato plants back in October and just today admitted they were done producing. I didn't get that many tomatoes from them but it sure was exciting to watch them grow. I don't think they really thrived though. I think I will try radishes next! I like the idea of being able to use all twelve pods at once.
This is the best hydroponics channel I’ve found. I would be interested to see if you experiment with the Kratky Method and mason jars. 😃🌱🌱🌱

Thanks for this info. Very helpful in preparing for fall planting

What were all of the last ones you listed? I couldn't understand everything you said. (the "extra" ones at the end)
Siberian Dwarf Kale, Slo-bolt Cilantro, Culantro, Baby Bok Choy, Tatsoi, Dragon Tongue Bush Beans, Aunt Molly's Ground Cherries, Malabar Spinach, Italian Dandelions, Purslane, Red Leaf Amaranth, and Stevia.

True, Tatsoi is un-killable. Unfortunately my plants got infestation. Otherwise, they are stubborn and live very long.
@@aerogardenexperiments mine got too old and started making flowers.
Thank you as always for your videos!

you can trim off a leaf and propagate it to try and grow more - it takes off about 30 days of growing
