Just got this for Christmas today, because literally all I do is play solitaire and listen to hockey games, with the occasional UA-cam tutorial for some things. It does exactly what I need plus a little more.
I think you failed to mention the camera quality difference compared to tablets at this price range. Where most other tablets come with a 2 MP front-facing camera, this one comes with a 8 MP front-facing one. Which goes very well with its purpose: casual use including browsing, mails, conference/video calls.
That's a good point! I don't often talk about cameras on tablets, they often aren't used much, but you bring up a great point. Especially for video calls
@@AndroidDigest I had noted use cases like reading (a bit heavy for that though, but OK when sitting), DAW/VST/MIDI (not the least due to the headphone port), system camera control, telescope control, and of course browsing (where none requires super performance), but video calls/conferencing is a great use case for this device and with good quality too.
If I’m wanting to take photos occasionally, is this tablet powerful enough (or is there even access?) to do minor to moderate editing? What software would be compatible (load-wise) with this tablet to do that… it’s not gonna be able to handle photoshop, right?
About 2½ years ago I purchased a Samsung TAB A 10.1 32GB with 4G cellular. From my mobile carrier, it was offered for ½ price in a 2 year plan. I did think the internal memory was short, but I seem to be able to fit all my apps in (about 27GB) without noticing a slow down of functions, but I'm not a gamer, so perhaps speed is not critical. The idea was to replace a 2013 purchase of the Samsung Galaxy Tab2 10.1 with 3G which only had 16GB internal, and android 4 OS. Last year, (2023) along came the Lenovo M10 Plus 3rd generation (64 GB, android 13) WiFi tablet, and purchased one at ALDI for $A199.00 in their 'special buys'. Of course within 24 hours the stores sold out. A well presented review.
I'm looking for a 10" tablet for someone who just wants to use it for watching videos or light Internet browsing, no gaming. I think this tablet will be perfect, it's cheap but also it's not with the MediaTek P22T which can be found in other, cheaper 10" tablets - that chip is too sluggish even with the simplest tasks sometimes, switching between apps takes time, updates take long and make the tablet run slow etc. The G80 should do great if you don't plan on playing intensive games, but stil want the device to be snappy, at least to a point that using it is not annoying.
Thanks for your review it helped me pull the trigger on a new tablet for one of my kids. Lenovo has the 4gb/128gb version on sale for 170 plus an extra 10.00 off if you use the coupon on the top of the page. Seems like a great deal for the specs.
I was able to get the 64gb version of this tablet direct from Lenovo on a sale they had for $140, which to me is a steal for the quality of it. Excellent 2K screen, nice Android 12 UI out of the box. A high quality build design. Sure it's not as good as the Samsung S8, but it's also not $700 either. For the price, it's really excellent.
Exactly, not a lot of people are comparing tablets at this price, so people may scoff that it's not a Tab S8, but again for the price that's a steal. A great companion device
I bought this and returned it the next day. Freezes, shutdowns, slow responses. Worst tablet I have ever touched. Stick with Apple or Samsung. Not worth the measly savings with Lenovo.
Sadly most people are imprisoned in a spell by Samsung and Apple that to them anything other than these two are no good in spite of the fact that if you're getting much more for your hard earned money's worth with this one. Crazy!

Thanks so much. I should add that the Lenovo tab M11 is out now. That comes with 4 GB of RAM in the base model. It's slightly faster with a better refresh rate too. And more update options. Two big OS updates and more security updates. And right now that tablet in the US at least is on sale for like $130. At Best Buy. I paid like $105 open box. This was as of yesterday. The prices could change. But my point is that M11 may be a better value at this point. I try to make reviews that last a long time and I really do think my advice for this tablet still stands, but yeah. Iike the m11 to
Would you recommend getting the 64GB or 128GB version of this tablet? I don't plan on installing a lot of apps and I'll use an SD card. I want to use it for as long as possible as well.
It depends on the price difference. Honestly if you don't use many apps and use an SD card 64GB should be fine. I can't guarantee that things won't take more space over time though. But you should be fine. But it could be a little bit close after a couple of years. I'd check the price, don't be afraid to spend an extra $20 or $30
@@AndroidDigest Yeah, I think I'll go for the 128GB model just for the peace of mind. The price difference is only $20 anyways. I'm waiting for sale currently. Thanks!

Good review! Took delivery a few days ago on the 128 GB model with 4 GB memory. It's pretty much as you said but having a hard time finding a niche for it between a Moto G5 Plus and a Lenovo Thinkpad. They do everything and see this - and any tablet for that matter - as a kind of luxury although it's superior to the Moto G for tasks beyond phone use. Update: Even though I got a great price and shipping was fast, returned because I couldn't get tech support.
I found one of these for $90 and this video sold me on whether to snag it or not. I’m only using this tablet for sheet music during live performances so the specs will be fine. Thanks for the help!
Anybody know why my 2nd Gen, with very little space used, keeps telling me "Not Enough Space"??? Been trying to find an answer to this problem for months to no avail. The tablet is useless to me now.
Great review, really like this, similar spec to my broken Samsung Tab A.....I mostly use for surfing & watching movies so I really want a HD screen and Dolby Atmos sound, this is perfect!
A bit late to the party but I was thinking of using this for uni so I was just going to use this mainly for note taking and sketches. Would it be worth it?
If you're just looking to take notes and do sketches, I would honestly recommend the tab s6 lite. It's going to be just as fast as this tablet but it will get better updates as far as software and it comes with an s pen. Often you could find it on sale around $250 and if you buy a used you could obviously get it even cheaper. But coming with the stylus is a really big deal. With all that being said, this still would be a good tablet for note taking, especially if you find it at a really really good price. But you would have to buy the stylus separately and that would bring it really close to the s6 lite anyway. One final note. If you do buy the S6 Lite there is a 2020 model and a 2022 model. The only difference is the processor is a little faster in the 2022 model and that model may get more updates. Most listings will have the year in the title so you can differentiate between them. Good luck with everything
I just got the M10 Plus at a company Christmas party. Can the tablet be used as a secondary monitor via usb-c? I am having trouble finding articles about the tablet.
That's one thing that I don't remember testing. But pretty sure this has usb c 2.0 which can't do monitor output. I can't guarantee it but I'm guessing it won't work with a monitor
I have the an Lenovo M8 ChromeOS it works fine, and has video out throught the USB-C. It does not have the ability to use many Android apps. The M10 Plus adds more Android app compatibility. This Tablet went on sale and I jumped on the M10 Plus. It works great. One very important note- if you get the WLAN version, the documentation says you CAN NOT use the SD card. I have the WLAN, added a card and it works fine. Solid review.
It's a Lenovo precision pen. I can't remember which one. Would give you the link. I'm just crazy busy. Just adopted our foster daughter and it's a busy week. Taking her to a summer camp too. If you Google the exact title of the video (just take the weird review out and add "Lenovo pen" hopefully you will get more info. I think it's the precision pen 2. But can't know for sure
Thanks for that. My new Lenovo M10 Plus 3rd gen is my ‘back up’ to my main tablet, which is an iPad Pro. I’m a lady of more mature years so really only do basic stuff on a computer. However, I wanted a competent tablet for when I go on holiday etc, as I never travel with my iPad… I did a lot of research before buying the Lenovo and your video confirmed I’d made the right choice. When security updates stop coming from Android, do I need to download some other sort of security? My husband has an ancient laptop and he has Firefox on that. Many thanks, and cheers from England xxx
To my understanding Android is a little bit different than Apple in regards to security updates. Yes they are important about finding vulnerabilities and helping people avoid those rare situations where they run across a security risk. But in reality, Android actually can address a lot of those things through updates in the Play store. Android now updates a lot of things on the back end so that even if a device doesn't get security updates it could still be more secure than it would be otherwise. Most viruses are generally built for Windows laptops and as long as you don't install anything suspicious on your tablet or go to a bunch of very odd websites you should be okay. I don't really see a big benefit of virus protection on Android. But that's just my take. How long you keep a device that's still not getting security updates is entirely up to you of course. But I think this tablet should last you a few years as a good basic tablet for basic uses
I scored one as a Best Buy open box purchase at their “good” grade. No accessories, but no scratches, dents or issues - in either hardware or software. Slightly choppy performance, but it does well when paired to the Precision Pen 2. Price? $27, including the unavoidable $4 recycling fee. Happy as a clam :)
For whatever reason I can't get the micro sd to register as 'internal' it will only recognize as external. Which means you're stuck with apps taking up the main memory
Yes it's external storage and would always be recognized like that. Some devices allow apps to be moved and some don't. I would just recommend moving all of your pictures AND videos and music to the sd card. You can go into apps like spotify or youtube music or any music streaming app, and you should be able to save directly to the sd card, changing settings like that and moving your media to the sd card should help some.
I took the Android Tab instead of Apple. This was the tab I bought when I visited my hometown. Amazing performance. I didn't get any issues when it comes to gaming. Most of the games will run smoothly on this one, but if you want something more Wow you should pick the Samsung S-class. If you pick up this one for daily uses you wont have any toubles!
I think it should work fine. I haven't tested it though. But it should work with it. It doesn't have a 120 Hertz screen so I won't be quite as smooth as something like a Galaxy tablet like the Tab S8 but it should do just fine
I remember it being about 400 nits, can't remember off hand, but it wasn't too bad. It's no 600 nit-1,000 nit screen though, but better than some of the worse tablets with 300 nits
I don't think it could, but either way it wouldn't matter, it's a 1080p display, even if it took 4k video and played it, it can still only display at 1080p anyway, so it won't make much of a difference.
I'd take the P11 Plus with 6GB of RAM if they are close in price. Price plays a factor in this though. So it depends on the price difference and how much you value that. But other than that, I think the P11 Plus is a better buy
I think it's pretty comparable honestly. I'd get the model with more RAM or if it has the same RAM get the one with the better price. They are pretty comparable to me
So, can anyone tell me the exct name of the Mario Kart game? The only one I can find is Mario Kart tour, its has the screen vertical and requires moving an arrow left or right to steer. Definitely isnt the same one as in thia video.
It is the same. In the settings you can change it to work in landscape while racing. Portrait before the race. And you can change the steering techniques and braking, that's why I don't have the same arrows
If you go in the settings you can search "navigation bar". It gives you the option to go to the 3 button layout (back, home, recent apps) or you can use the gesture navigation. If you haven't used gesture navigation, I do think it's a better way to get around, but not everyone is used to it, so I get it if you want to switch back to the 3 buttons. Hopefully this helps.
Great review! Can someone tell me if the display is truly "anti-fingerprint" as Lenovo advertises it on their site? Also, does the text look sharp and not jarred as on laptop screens?
Hope you enjoy it. It can work with the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and Active Pen 3 (for Android), which are both active styluses. Moreover, any passive stylus that works on any touchscreen will work on this tablet. From Android police. Sorry I'm late with the response.
Honestly, a factory reset might help. I had this with my Galaxy A15 5G and a reset fixed it, and I didn't install apps from a backup, just installed fresh (just in case). Not sure if it will help you but it did me. It stinks but it was worth it in the end.
I just bought mine and im super excited to get them. Im mainly using it for school like opening ppt, writing notes ans watching videos. What app do you think is best to take digital notes thats compatible with this device ?
I like to use Google Drive to organize all my files. And then I make folders and I use Google docs to write out notes. You could even organize them by class. By making a folder in Google Drive for each class. You could also use Google keep for some quicker notes. And I like to use Microsoft OneNote which can sync across all your devices if you just create a Microsoft account. And it sinks with your PC too if you sign into OneNote on there. That's good for basic notes. Not as much documents. Google docs can do a little bit of both
So, apparently this tablet isn't compatible with Diablo Immortal. Any idea why that is? Really wanted to play it on my new M10 Plus 3rd Gen. I even have the 4 gig version for extra ram.
They have certain specifications: Operating System: Android 5.0 and higher Processor: Snapdragon 660 / Exynos 9611 and higher Video: Adreno 512 / Mali-G72 MP3 and higher Memory: 2 GB RAM Theretically I'm guessing the processor is actually better than the Snapdragon 660, or it's VERY CLOSE. But maybe the GPU is slightly behind? It's gotta be very close to these specs, but the specs may be slightly too high for this tablet. Most games allow even low end tablets to work, and they just allow you to turn down the graphics.
@@AndroidDigest Mehh, its totally fine. I found a game called AnimA. Literally a Diablo clone. No ads or pop ups, 100% free and really fun. Just wish it had controller or keybinding support for my Bluetooth mouse.
@@AndroidDigest Here's what is REALLY odd, Apple Tv is not compatible with this tablet, yet you can stream via the website just fine! Sucks for me due to VERY low Wi-Fi signal at work for my breaks! I usually download movies, shows, etc to my tablet from Vudu, Netflix orr other subscriptions specifically due to that reason! No reason a streaming app shouldn't be compatible.
@@AndroidDigest it was 32gb and 3gb base model, I didn’t expect much but considering a 2k screen no apps or background services running 1080p video even was a lot for it so I’m returning it
One thing to note about the Lenovo tablets. If you are gonna use Vudu you WILL NOT be able to stream over SD quality. For some reason the Lenovo tablets will not stream any higher no matter what. You can use Movies Anywhere as a sync, but that app doesn't acknowledge every title you own thru Vudu. It's like how Chrome can't stream HDX, but Edge can.
I don't think there's necessarily a problem. Even if it did show 2K, the tablet itself isn't 2K. So it might be making the video look a little bit better, like upsampling it or something, but the reality is it only is a 1080p screen anyway. So you aren't going to see a significant difference trying to up the quality.
Sorry for the late response. Honestly, I think the Duet 3 is a better tablet, just a little more expensive. It's got a better screen, the keyboard is terrific and helps you to do more productive work, and the tablet will be faster than the M10 Plus, at least in some scenarios, also more updates. I will say that chrome os tablets still have a few bugs, very minor, most of them keyboard related (with swype typing, or other minor issues) but most of those issues are pretty minor and may be solved with updates. They also get better update support. I'd just try to find it on sale or on ebay, I found it for $260 in a sale at lenovo a couple of months ago, and Best buy has been regularly marking the duet 5 on sale, and the duet 3 I've seen recently on sale too, so look out for sales
@@AndroidDigest thanks for your opinion but i already buy the M10 Plus 3rd Gen because of price diference for the duet and i catch a special offer with Lenovo original case and Precision pen 2 for 250€
Very nice review. I agree with your opinion about this tablet. I have a question about the tablet holder (stand). Could you tell me what holder (stand) is this?
I guess it depends on what your other options are. This is one of the slower Android tablet compared to other tablets. It should do okay for shorter documents but I'm not sure I would want to type a 20 page paper on it or anything. A $300 or $400 tablet would be a lot faster. Keep in mind either way that you would have to have an office 365 subscription if you want to use Microsoft office products on a tablet
I know they had problems on the previous generation. But this is certified to work rush 1080p on Netflix, Amazon, and Disney, so don't think you will have any issues.
Specifically in color production- display I want to use this for reading comics and by the color specs I think the M10 is actually a better display for that. I would also like to use it for work occasionally but it's primary use will be a digital comic reader
I wish I could tell you off the top of my head. I did review both tablets but it would be difficult for me to tell you which display has better color accuracy just off of memory. Normally when I use a display especially at this price point I'm just trying to determine if it's a good display for the price or not. And both displays seemed pretty good for the money. I don't really think one of them will be significantly better than the other.
I’m looking for a tablet that I’ll use for videos and social media (talking and video calling) and was wondering if anyone would recommend this tablet or something else. Any thoughts?
It all depends on your budget for sure. This is good for watching videos and basic social media. Great for the price. But if you can find something like the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite on sale, it will be a slightly better option, especially the 2022 model, sometimes it goes on sale around $250. But if you want to find something under $200, this is great, and the 4GB of RAM option is also a good thing to go for if you are looking between models
@@AndroidDigest I really appreciate the feedback! But why would the S6 be the better option? Is it because it has a better processor? Or perhaps better quality on the screen?
Just sold my iPad. Buy 3 months ago. Because last update fuck UA-cam playing and Netflix media playing experience. So iPad sucks. To me. Writing in my secondary phone. iPhone SE 2020. Will prefer my new 1 month old Lenovo tab M8. Great experience watching videos and Netflix
Hope you enjoy it. If you find the Galaxy A9 Plus for a similar price that just came out fairly recently and that's been a great deal too. But if you find a good price on the m10 plus it's still worth it for the basics
Yes, the third generation comes with a Snapdragon chip. At least in the US. I'm not sure if other models internationally are different. I'm working off of memory here so I don't think I'm wrong, but feel free to Google the specs on it if you want to double check
It depends on the price you find and if you want the S-Pen. The S6 Lite will be slightly better. And comes with an s-pen. If you find them for a similar price get the s6 lite. But if you don't need an s-pen and you get a great deal on the m10 plus, get that.
I only interested in the snapdragon 680 version. Why does everyone buy it with the weaker hardware? I cannot find a review with the stronger one... so far.
Thanks, that explains everything. Ordered one not from US. Second Time I disappointed in Lenovo. I bought a headphone, got a scrapped one had to send back and bought an Akai, which is way better anyway. China vs Japan
Maybe this reddit thread will help you. www.reddit.com/r/stylus/comments/q3scx7/lenovo_precision_pen_2_unable_to_pair/ I saw this on there: You have to hold the two buttons for 30 seconds for the pen to reconnect to the tablet. If the battery dies the pen will stop being recognized by the tablet and you'll have to do it again. It doesn't need to be connected with Bluetooth though. I think the 30 second hold is more just waking the pen up? Make sure to charge it, it should connect automatically, but if not try this, you also may need to go into the settings and enable something,

Hi does it allow screen sharing to other devices?
Good review! Took delivery a few days ago on the 128 GB model with 4 GB memory. It's pretty much as you said but having a hard time finding a niche for it between a Moto G5 Plus and a Lenovo Thinkpad. They do everything and see this - and any tablet for that matter - as a kind of luxury although it's superior to the Moto G for tasks beyond phone use. Update: Even though I got a great price and shipping was fast, returned because I couldn't get tech support.
I hear you. Not everyone has a great use case for tablets.
May I ask what you needed tech support for? Was it faulty?
@@AndersBorgSweden System update froze tablet.
@@Broken_Arrow58Ouch! Hasn't happened to me though.
@@AndersBorgSweden Technology is a crapshoot; you won, I lost. Luckily, it happened within the return window.
I found one of these for $90 and this video sold me on whether to snag it or not. I’m only using this tablet for sheet music during live performances so the specs will be fine. Thanks for the help!
Sure! Enjoy it
Anybody know why my 2nd Gen, with very little space used, keeps telling me "Not Enough Space"??? Been trying to find an answer to this problem for months to no avail. The tablet is useless to me now.
How much storage is available right now? Should be able to go to the storage in settings and check that
Great review, really like this, similar spec to my broken Samsung Tab A.....I mostly use for surfing & watching movies so I really want a HD screen and Dolby Atmos sound, this is perfect!
Exactly, it does the job if you have particular needs
What I love about this tablet is the feel, very premium with a great screen and! and! leaves change to purchase an SD card/Cover
That's a nice thing for sure
@@AndroidDigest amazing! Thanks so much for the detailed reply! I was tossing up between this one and the S6 so this really helped my decision!
Glad to help!
I just got the M10 Plus at a company Christmas party. Can the tablet be used as a secondary monitor via usb-c? I am having trouble finding articles about the tablet.
That's one thing that I don't remember testing. But pretty sure this has usb c 2.0 which can't do monitor output. I can't guarantee it but I'm guessing it won't work with a monitor
i just purchased this tablet. Now i can watch Gunsmoke at night in my cabin on our cruise for December😆😆
Скажите пожалуйста что лучше Lenovo tab 11 или Lenovo pad 3-его поколения?
I bought this tablet few days ago for 115 dollars on Best Buy😍
A really good deal!
Remarkable, wish I knew about this vid before I did all of the research by myself.
Hope it helped
Does this support stylus, if yes can you mention the model of stylus
However, I wanted a competent tablet for when I go on holiday etc, as I never travel with my iPad…
I did a lot of research before buying the Lenovo and your video confirmed I’d made the right choice.
@@AndroidDigest Thank you. That's very helpful xxx
Sounds like you got a great deal!
Does it have writing or painting programs?
For whatever reason I can't get the micro sd to register as 'internal' it will only recognize as external. Which means you're stuck with apps taking up the main memory
Yes it's external storage and would always be recognized like that. Some devices allow apps to be moved and some don't. I would just recommend moving all of your pictures AND videos and music to the sd card. You can go into apps like spotify or youtube music or any music streaming app, and you should be able to save directly to the sd card, changing settings like that and moving your media to the sd card should help some.
The M10 plus 3rd gen here is Snapdragon 680.
Is it worth it? In the market for a tablet so I can experience it for the first time.
Yeah it's a good tablet and the Snapdragon 680 is decent! It's Good tablet for the price
Thanks so much for the comment!
Can this run microsoft gamepass casual gaming ok? Is 4g ram good enough for casual gaming and video streaming?
Yes. I think it is. Game pass I didn't test, but it's pretty much all internet based, so I think it should still run fine.
Great review!
Thanks so much
Do you know if this tablet performs well with the lenovo precision pen 2?
I think it should work fine. I haven't tested it though. But it should work with it. It doesn't have a 120 Hertz screen so I won't be quite as smooth as something like a Galaxy tablet like the Tab S8 but it should do just fine
Will this tablet be able to run gopro quik app
Are we supposed to buy the oen separately?
yes, the pen comes separately, in most cases. Sometimes lenovo bundles it with it, if you pay more. But in most cases you will have to buy separately.
Superb review, thanks.
Thank you so much!
Does it have a compatible stylus for active writing?
Yep, it's the precision pen 2, I mention it towards the end of the video
@@AndroidDigest also active pen 3 and lazarite m pen works.
I'm thinking of buying it to use as a screen for my dji mini 2 drone.
Do you know how many nits the screen has?
Thank you
I remember it being about 400 nits, can't remember off hand, but it wasn't too bad. It's no 600 nit-1,000 nit screen though, but better than some of the worse tablets with 300 nits
Hey, your review helps me understand much about the Tab world.. Thanks
Thanks so much
I bought this one and it comes with a "Magic Cleaner", should I delete it for better battery life and performance?
I would personally delete it yes
@@AndroidDigest just did that 👍
i have a question. does this can play 4k video without lagging ?
I don't think it could, but either way it wouldn't matter, it's a 1080p display, even if it took 4k video and played it, it can still only display at 1080p anyway, so it won't make much of a difference.
Whats the stream quality ?
I’m conflicted, can’t decide between the P11 Plus 6 gb version with Helio G90T processor and the M10 Plus 3 Gen, help!
I'd take the P11 Plus with 6GB of RAM if they are close in price. Price plays a factor in this though. So it depends on the price difference and how much you value that. But other than that, I think the P11 Plus is a better buy
Unbelievable quality. Thanks a lot and best wishes ❤
Thanks for the compliment. That's a big deal to me! Enjoy the holidays
@@AndroidDigest You too man 😊
My M10 plus do not show 2k on UA-cam ! Any solutions ?
Is the none plus model just as good? Better than Samsung A8? And cheaper
@@AndroidDigest Thank you for that. It is appreciated.
i have just bout the Tab m10 fhd us with dock station
im having trouble finding the Bck Home and the other button ..is there a knack ?
If you go in the settings you can search "navigation bar". It gives you the option to go to the 3 button layout (back, home, recent apps) or you can use the gesture navigation. If you haven't used gesture navigation, I do think it's a better way to get around, but not everyone is used to it, so I get it if you want to switch back to the 3 buttons. Hopefully this helps.
@@AndroidDigest many thanks
@@AndroidDigest ,1 further if i may ,looked on the display ,i prefer the batt condition to show as % not just a Batt , Thanks
Good review. People just lost all sense of practicality and will buy based on name brands. Not on how much you get for your hard earned money.
Can a ps4 controller be synced with this to play certain games with?
Yes. Any bluetooth controller. Including the Ps4 controller. How it works depends on the game.
Thank You for the response
Great review! Can someone tell me if the display is truly "anti-fingerprint" as Lenovo advertises it on their site? Also, does the text look sharp and not jarred as on laptop screens?
Sorry, it's hard for me to answer these, I don't have the device on me now, hopefully someone can help you with that though.
Just bought it today as well, any recommendations for a quality stylus pen
Hope you enjoy it. It can work with the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and Active Pen 3 (for Android), which are both active styluses. Moreover, any passive stylus that works on any touchscreen will work on this tablet. From Android police. Sorry I'm late with the response.
hello i want to ask one thing: i updated it to the newest android possible but it has some animation lags, anybody knows how to fix it?
Honestly, a factory reset might help. I had this with my Galaxy A15 5G and a reset fixed it, and I didn't install apps from a backup, just installed fresh (just in case). Not sure if it will help you but it did me. It stinks but it was worth it in the end.
@@AndroidDigest thanks for your help
I just bought mine and im super excited to get them. Im mainly using it for school like opening ppt, writing notes ans watching videos. What app do you think is best to take digital notes thats compatible with this device ?
Microsoft Word Or Google Slides😊
I like to use Google Drive to organize all my files. And then I make folders and I use Google docs to write out notes. You could even organize them by class. By making a folder in Google Drive for each class. You could also use Google keep for some quicker notes. And I like to use Microsoft OneNote which can sync across all your devices if you just create a Microsoft account. And it sinks with your PC too if you sign into OneNote on there. That's good for basic notes. Not as much documents. Google docs can do a little bit of both

Yeah, sorry! Hopefully you find some soon. I don't normally cover LTE tablets, but maybe one day
There are two versions out now...a Qualcomm Snapdragon and a cheaper Mediatek Helio..also the update policy from Lenovo is not as good as Samsung...
I agree, Lenovo's update policy is rough. And they are so slow with updates.
What size SD card? I got one for my son for Christmas.
It should be able to take a very large SD card. Like even a 1 TB SD card. So whatever your card you got him should probably work fine
@@AndroidDigest Thank you!
So, apparently this tablet isn't compatible with Diablo Immortal. Any idea why that is? Really wanted to play it on my new M10 Plus 3rd Gen. I even have the 4 gig version for extra ram.
They have certain specifications: Operating System: Android 5.0 and higher
Processor: Snapdragon 660 / Exynos 9611 and higher
Video: Adreno 512 / Mali-G72 MP3 and higher
Memory: 2 GB RAM
Theretically I'm guessing the processor is actually better than the Snapdragon 660, or it's VERY CLOSE.
I bought this open box at Best Buy $115, did I get a lemon? Mine is sluggish just opening settings app
What model did you get? How much RAM
My M10 plus do not show 2k on UA-cam ! Any solutions ?
I don't think there's necessarily a problem. Even if it did show 2K, the tablet itself isn't 2K. So it might be making the video look a little bit better, like upsampling it or something, but the reality is it only is a 1080p screen anyway. So you aren't going to see a significant difference trying to up the quality.
Can this output video through USB C?
No,it cant.
I'm a fan of your reviews, can you please help me choose between this tablet or the Lenovo Duet 3? I use for streaming, e-mails and internet search

Hope you're enjoying it. I will say we've got some updated tablets since this video. But the m10 is still solid
I will be using this tablet for word, excel, gdoc and gsheet for school. Is it worth buying?
I guess it depends on what your other options are. This is one of the slower Android tablet compared to other tablets. It should do okay for shorter documents but I'm not sure I would want to type a 20 page paper on it or anything. A $300 or $400 tablet would be a lot faster. Keep in mind either way that you would have to have an office 365 subscription if you want to use Microsoft office products on a tablet
Thanks, that was informative 😊
Glad to help
Heard it has problems with Netflix and Disney plus. Can you comfirm this. it would be a great help thanks
I know they had problems on the previous generation. But this is certified to work rush 1080p on Netflix, Amazon, and Disney, so don't think you will have any issues.
Lenovo P11 plus has no 3.5 mm headphone jack
Hi- How would compare this to the P11 Plus?
Specifically in color production- display I want to use this for reading comics and by the color specs I think the M10 is actually a better display for that. I would also like to use it for work occasionally but it's primary use will be a digital comic reader
I wish I could tell you off the top of my head. I did review both tablets but it would be difficult for me to tell you which display has better color accuracy just off of memory. Normally when I use a display especially at this price point I'm just trying to determine if it's a good display for the price or not. And both displays seemed pretty good for the money. I don't really think one of them will be significantly better than the other.
Awesome review, cheers
Thanks so much! Appreciate it
@@AndroidDigest please does the Lenovo tab M10 3rd Gen support SIM card

The Lenovo Precision Pen 2 and Active Pen 3 (for Android)
I'm buying tomorrow' Thanks for the great review
Hope you enjoy it. If you find the Galaxy A9 Plus for a similar price that just came out fairly recently and that's been a great deal too. But if you find a good price on the m10 plus it's still worth it for the basics
Android Digest is this the one with the snapdragon?
Yes, the third generation comes with a Snapdragon chip. At least in the US. I'm not sure if other models internationally are different. I'm working off of memory here so I don't think I'm wrong, but feel free to Google the specs on it if you want to double check
Thanks for answering
Also love the reviews you have !
Thanks for the compliment! Glad you have your support
ahould i get this or the s6 lite?
It depends on the price you find and if you want the S-Pen. The S6 Lite will be slightly better. And comes with an s-pen. If you find them for a similar price get the s6 lite. But if you don't need an s-pen and you get a great deal on the m10 plus, get that.
Which one is good. This one or the redmi pad?
They are about equal. It depends on price
I only interested in the snapdragon 680 version. Why does everyone buy it with the weaker hardware? I cannot find a review with the stronger one... so far.
Go to Lenovo's website. There is no Snapdragon 680 version being sold in the US. I reviewed what they had available. And what you can find in the US
Thanks, that explains everything. Ordered one not from US. Second Time I disappointed in Lenovo. I bought a headphone, got a scrapped one had to send back and bought an Akai, which is way better anyway. China vs Japan
Waiting on this tablet. Bought it on ebay
I'm thinking of buying this, but I'm not sure, I'm a medical student, is it worth it for students, and artists?
I would probably recommend taking a step up to something like a Galaxy Tab S9FE at least. Then you get the s pen

Maybe this reddit thread will help you. www.reddit.com/r/stylus/comments/q3scx7/lenovo_precision_pen_2_unable_to_pair/
I saw this on there:
You have to hold the two buttons for 30 seconds for the pen to reconnect to the tablet.
