    The first point at 6:10 works in vice versa as well; Learn pronunciation of words before placing tonal marks on them.
    I believe its corollary is even more important to the cause of learning to speak the language; Placing/recognizing the tonal marks enables you to pronounce a word correctly.

    I suspect that this tonal system nomenclature is based on the English music system of notes - do re mi. What do you think?

    Thanks. I never understood the tonality subject in school. But now i do Re has a neural tone, not high nor low, Me has a high tone and Do has a low tone. And all stressed on the vowels! Please correct me now. Cos that's my understanding.🤭
