The precious box containing the oil is a representation of Jesus himself. His body was anointed with the oil as a kings anointing, representing the Holy Spirit, as a representation of our salvation. His body, containing the Holy Spirit, was broken for us and the Holy Spirit, represented by the oil, anoints the believers in Christ as they are joined and now a part of His Body. That process for us being a similar anointing as kings in his kingdom. Jesus Christ anointed, King of kings.
I have to agree that the disciples are part of the body of Christ and all those that were saved after his resurrection, but they are law keepers.. I think what this pastor was speaking is from this verse, because it says that Paul was the very first sinner saved by "Grace" vs. under the law period with the disciples. Jesus fulfilled the law and then nailed it to the cross. Col.2:14 which the Judeans can't release or won't quit sacrificing animals; thus the book of "Hebrews" This is why the nation of Judah had to be eliminated for awhile to stop it until the end of days that we live in right now. 1Timothy 1:15 - Paul was the very first sinner saved by grace on the Damascus Road, by Jesus who saves sinners; That word Chief - Greek - PrOtos - very first - foremost - Top dog. To what you stated here's a verse on that; Ephesians 3:6 " That the Gentiles should be fellowheirs, and of the same body, and partakers of his promise in Christ by the gospel:" Paul is the one that was given the "mystery" of what he is preaching called "Grace" Romans 16:25 and as well in other books/letters.. "Dispensation of Grace" Eph 3:2 If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward: Even Peter had a hard time understanding Paul's teaching but he knew that Jesus has done something different from what he had thought in the early "Acts" of expecting Jesus to return within 7-10 years to set up his kingdom on earth and they would sit with him as Priests and Kings.. Peter also states to pay attention to what brother Paul is writing about.. 2Peter3:15-16 I think this is from God to those that don't want to follow after Paul's writings today of "Grace" by faith alone and NOT by works of the law.. I don't believe most of the Romans paid any attention to who Jesus was and that's why Judas had to point him out. These were soldiers that were following orders to follow Judas to get Jesus to bring him back.

Answer this for me please. I need some help family... If a day is like 1000 years and 1000 years is like a day, it is understandable that the creation is 6000 years old, my problem is that man was created on the sixth day, he was not created on the first day. The only way to calculate the age from Adam to Abraham, then from Abraham to our Lord Jesus and then to our days is adding the ages and some events in the Bible, but we only arrive to approximately 6000 years for the age of man, which has nothing to do with the creation of the earth and the universe. We were created at the last, on the sixth day, that is 5 days had already passed, in other words 5000 years until Adam was born. I ask this because I am confused, many speak of day 4, the fourth day where God created the stars and Jesus came in the year 4000 but in practice day 4 would be 9000 years ago. We were created on day 6 and that cannot mean that we were created 1000 years ago.
Are we not all Jews if you really think about Noah, and his family which survived the flood because God said so, and Noah listened and did as he was told. I'm not. There is NEW WINE (freshly squeezed) and OLD WINE (fermented). Often in the Bible, just the word "wine" is used for both. The context tells you if it's fermented or not. For example it's called "strong drink" when fermented.
Jesus ate food and drank wine because the religious leaders of his day accused him of excess saying: “Look! The precious box containing the oil is a representation of Jesus himself. His body was anointed with the oil as a kings anointing, representing the Holy Spirit, as a representation of our salvation. His body, containing the Holy Spirit, was broken for us and the Holy Spirit, represented by the oil, anoints the believers in Christ as they are joined and now a part of His Body. That process for us being a similar anointing as kings in his kingdom.

I have to agree that the disciples are part of the body of Christ and all those that were saved after his resurrection, but they are law keepers.. I think what this pastor was speaking is from this verse, because it says that Paul was the very first sinner saved by "Grace" vs. under the law period with the disciples. Jesus fulfilled the law and then nailed it to the cross. Col.2:14 which the Judeans can't release or won't quit sacrificing animals; thus the book of "Hebrews" This is why the nation of Judah had to be eliminated for awhile to stop it until the end of days that we live in right now.

I don't believe most of the Romans paid any attention to who Jesus was and that's why Judas had to point him out. These were soldiers that were following orders to follow Judas to get Jesus to bring him back.

I need some help family...
If a day is like 1000 years and 1000 years is like a day, it is understandable that the creation is 6000 years old, my problem is that man was created on the sixth day, he was not created on the first day. The only way to calculate the age from Adam to Abraham, then from Abraham to our Lord Jesus and then to our days is adding the ages and some events in the Bible, but we only arrive to approximately 6000 years for the age of man, which has nothing to do with the creation of the earth and the universe. We were created at the last, on the sixth day, that is 5 days had already passed, in other words 5000 years until Adam was born.
I ask this because I am confused, many speak of day 4, the fourth day where God created the stars and Jesus came in the year 4000 but in practice day 4 would be 9000 years ago. We were created on day 6 and that cannot mean that we were created 1000 years ago.
Are we not all Jews if you really think about Noah, and his family which survived the flood because God said so, and Noah listened and did as he was told. The earth was clean of the sinners and impure because Noah was still pure in his generations. Well, here we all are from Noah's family line. We are all Jews. ❤ Think about it!

The difference is that God selected Abraham to be the father of the Jewish people, so if you are not a descent of Abraham then you are not a member of the Jewish people.

I'm not. There is NEW WINE (freshly squeezed) and OLD WINE (fermented). Often in the Bible, just the word "wine" is used for both. The context tells you if it's fermented or not. For example it's called "strong drink" when fermented.

Jesus ate food and drank wine because the religious leaders of his day accused him of excess saying: “Look! A man gluttonous and given to drinking wine.” (Matthew 11:19) This charge would never have been lodged against him if it involved unfermented grape juice. Nor does an unfermenting drink cause wineskins to burst! (Luke 5:37-39)
Biblical references to wine are to literal wine, NOT to the unfermented juice of the grape. Real wine was on hand for the Passover celebration that had been concluded, and it could appropriately be used by Christ in instituting the Memorial of his death. The wine was red, for only red wine would be a fitting symbol of blood. 🍷
