Sharing this video on how to fix the Gigabyte UEFI Dual Bios cyclic reset or bios boot loop problem preventing Windows or other operating system from starting up. Gigabyte bios reset. Dual bios reset and recovery.

It worked for me with this solution: press the reset button at the same time with the power button for 25 seconds 😅 (PC off, but power supply on). , and finally I was able to boot to BIOS backup restore mode. Before I had the intermittent bootloop problem and BIOS backup did not appear , it did not work.

Hiya, I got it to boot properly again just as you demonstrated, thanx.
~ Gigabyte GA-F2A68HM-HD2 (Nobilis OEM) & PS2 connected keyboard
~ Held the tweezers down for a long time then finally just let go. System then rebooted and indicated corrupted bios. Pressed Enter and recovered OEM bios.
~ Boot cycle problem caused by trying to install PCIe nvme adapter.

SUCCESS! (MB: GA-Z68AP-D3-Rev.2)The main bios is the only bios that can be rewritten, the backup cannot be changed or modified without extensive knowledge.
What I had to do was short the main bios chip multiple times on multiple reboots, atleast 3. I never recieved that "bios has been reset." Do your own research but I had a different motherboard so that why I had a different experience.
I think the last time I reset, I switched the single ram that I was using to test; that might have fixed it. Also, to clear power for the whole computer, unplug monitor and pc, then remove the cmos and put the (cmos pins jumper) into the front panel "Power switch" port (the 2 pin port.) Leave for about 2 minutes.
Note: all my ram slots are working fine, even though switching a slot fixed the issue.
IMPORTANT!!!: I also I saw another video where they had lights GREEN(CPU) GREEN(RAM) YELLOW(VGA) RED(BOOT), same as me. Their solution was actually a dead CR2023 battery. They don't recharge while in your computer and have a life span of around 5-7 years.
I applied both this video and the cr2023 swap video. It worked! It took 3 days of researching and failing when following other videos and these solutions took less than 10 minutes.

Holding power + reset button for 10 seconds seems to have triggered the bios recovery, try that before shorting pins.

Friend, I took a GA-970A-D3P from my brother-in-law to repair and it has 2 bios. After buying a new SSD and reinstalling Win10, I noticed a strange anomaly! When I'm on Win10 and press reset, the machine boots for a moment and the main Bios screen appears and immediately the machine resets itself and is left with no video and no system! It only comes back if I turn it off and on again! Is there a possibility that the bios have different versions to generate this conflict?

What code was coming on the gigabyte debugger during boot loop, isnt this same like flashing the main bios again ?

thanks, it worked. How ever now it got in a loop over "press enter to update the main bios" :(. Maybe the backup bios is damaged as well

GA-Z68XP-UD3 (rev. 1.0) motherboard. As it was written here in comments already it was enough just to simultaneously press reset and power for about 10 sec for bios recovery prompt to appear on screen. Try this first before shortening anything live on the motherboard

At first I encountered the Gigabyte boot loop problem. After shorting Pin 1 and 6, my pc now unable to boot and even the gigabyte bootloop also not show.
I have tried all those power button / recycle power method before shorting pin 1 and 6, but all unable to solve this.

Yes Sir, you can start the process again by turning off the cpu for about 10-15 seconds before turning it on again. The recovery should take around 5-8 minutes based on my experience. I suggest using sewing pins crossed together so that it would not slip. Thanks.

I hope this actions was made after extracting RTC battery and shorten contacts of it? Very strange, Dual BIOS made to do this procedure automatically. May be it is a EC firmware problem? Or current BIOS firmware version problem?

You may try to refresh you CMOS first by removing the battery. After that try set bios to default settings. Tnx.
