Absolutely love this figure, it's really one of those must buys for me. Posing him on the board can be a real pain though unless you keep the board at a horizontal angle, and even then it can still be difficult to have him stand without falling over.
that's an awesome looking Silver Surfer, havent bought him, but I will...just cant help but feel relieved everytime I view these reviews of new figures from Hasbro, and compare all the junk I skipped buying til just a couple of yrs ago when they did much better...
If u want more posing options, turn the board around with the oddly placed peg in the front, then you can peg his right(I guess left if he is facing u) foot in and create a 'lunging' type of pose where he is facing front. Adjust him from there and u got a much better and cooler pose for the surfer. If u want pics, I'll show u. But I do agree that the board could be wider. So that's a bummer.

The narrow end of the board positioned in the back and the more rounded end with the peg in the front is an option that can and does allow you to IMO(after much time with the figure posing it) create better, alittle more accurate, and more dynamic surfer poses than the picture on the back of the box, IF you know how to pose figures. this guy filled a vital spot on my cosmic shelf. the board is not great but ehh. new Spiderman ps4 game has me craving that gamestop Spiderman now though even if it's reused parts.

Just don't place Surfer near, or against any walls. Apparently, the simple act of just touching the walls, floor, and ceiling, can easily knock him off his board. Just ask LJN. 😜

You got some great poses out of him even with the issue of the board size.
