i feel like a 5 star like JD should have the mindset to think i’m gonna clamp Tommy since everyone knows he is his teams only good player. It’s just strange to me that even though JD may have scored more than tommy, he still let him have 46.
Dude he is leading the country in scoring do you realize what that means? Not only can he get his own shot and not get sped up but if you watch every time there is even the slightest distracted moment by the defense he is able to take advantage. He doesn't work all that hard to get his 46 points and that is the mark of a truly great scorer. When Tommy is forced into a tough shot he can do that also but yeah a lot of those points are when the defense loses him or they are trying to recover. He is going to be a really good PG at the next level. Davison is super athletic and great in his own right, but Murr is going to be that guy who is playing for a mid major and goes on a run in the tournament where he averages 25 a game and controls the tempo of every possession and dishes out five assists a game.
You can just tell tommy mur is a better player , his team isn’t as good as the other team but he knows how to run the ball and allow good shoots for his team
