Absolutely love your videos. Falcon is fantastic! Thanks for sharing! Amazing how far along technology has come and how brilliant a lot of these synths sound. I got Warlock from Tone2 this morning for $69 and I'm blown away at the quality of the 2,100 presets.

I love Falcon 3. Great presets and I learn a lot from checking under the hood of my favourite presets and soundware. I have started the last week to have music sessions where I just mark favourites in different synths I own. Funny that you mention the same.
Great to hear! Yeah totally love 3.0 so far! Favourites in Omnisphere 2 has saved me a ton of time when I was working fulltime composing for games. I often even saved the channel strips in Logic Pro to be able to bring them up even faster...and with special treatment...hehe, and yeah, made templates of favourite sounds suitable for certain genres, moods and themes.
Falcon 3 is my favorite synth of all time ever. This update is so magical and gorgeous sounding. The new sequencers/arpeggiators + midi out makes it even that much more amazing besides the oscillators
Agree it's a very mature vst instrument! Many inspiring sounds out of the box!
The combination of the new Bitwig update along side this has been beyond inspiring
Falcon, Halion, Omnisphere, and Kontakt are my four faves for really big sounds.

haha no, I just color graded the camera image slightly different than I usually do.

Falcon is def a massive playground. Spectrasonics Omnisphere, another beast, would be the competition.
Indeed, they all have massive sound engines and stock sounds! I still feel Omnisphere is easier and more straightforward to use. I'll talk more about that in the next episode. The new "sequencers" in Falcon are wonderful!
Mattias, one of your students here. If I have Bitwig 5.2 do I need something like a Falcon 3 in my arsenal? Doesn't Bitwig do everything if not more then Falcon? Does Falcon do something better or have slight better workflow or just user experience in some workflows? Awating your feedback and guidance :) Best regards
Hey, they are all just tools. And I feel any DAW basically has a tremendous amount of tools, enough to make any good music. Falcon 3 in my opinion has some good and modern presets which might be usable, but editing and creating your own sounds is easier in Bitwig. Falcon may contain superior granular sound generators and some other arguably better tools. That said I feel its clunky compared to Bitwigs own system. Overall I still feel Omnisphere 2 is a better overall option when it comes to usable sounds, at least to my music. And its (to me) easier to use and edit.
In short you don’t need these extra plugin instruments. But it can be a time saver if you want quick modern sounds that’s carefully crafted. They both sound huge out of the box. Again, creating /editing sounds in Bitwig is fast and you have an enormous amount of tools.
That’s just my two cents. 😄🥁
Hope this gives some light into my thoughts on these big instrument packages.

A bit from the quality of Dune 3 but still very good sounding for a va. Seams like a better version of Omnisphere.
Yeah Falcon 3 is definitely high potential and deep plugin but I wouldn't say it's a "better" version of Omnisphere. Omnisphere 2 is very accessible to use and create sounds with IMO. Falcon 3 has some engines that's not really available in Omnisphere, but the accessible nature of Omnisphere makes me go back to it time and time again. They are both superb instruments though! ;)
