CAC alum and lifelong hog fan here. This is the best razorback channel out there for those that love the hogs but also want to learn and understand the game on a deeper level.
The film on Petrino reacting to Jackson missing the wheel route and Green’s eyes on the first INT and linebacker knowing it was excellent.
Thanks for everything DJ and putting the time/work into this channel with your other obligations and personal life!

Big fan of this show. DJ calls it like he sees it. Not disrespectful in any way, but if it's wrong it's wrong.
I really would like to see DJ do kinda like Gruden did with QBs, but with any Hog player, and just go over film with them. Would be legit.

The QB play is going to make our break us. If Green could hit throws or be more patient who knows how many more games we might steal. From what we are seeing in game and tape breakdowns is that unlike previous years, the throws are there.

DJ... Do you think these players are getting this kind of breakdown after the games ? It doesn't look like it. They're making the same mistakes every game. It's almost like they are so afraid of making a mistake and screwing up, they are indecisive on their responsibilities, and hesitant when they HAVE to make a split decision

If we don't get 6 wins this season, a ton of it is on Pittman for not getting this offensive line ready. Pass protection is not SEC level for sure. At least we can run the ball though. Good to see the defense play well, gotta have that in the SEC. Bobby sure has a lot to work on. Lot of eye rolls in video review despite the win.

On the big hit that Armstrong took, he wouldn't have been able to catch the ball if he'd stayed running laterally at the 31 yard line. As it was, he had to jump to catch the ball at around the 35. The ball would have soared over him if he'd stayed running along the 31.

Same, the big 6’3+ receiver game is dead. It’s all about shifty space yac yard receivers. And you gotta catch the ball first and foremost, if Teslaa had broadens speed he’d be a top 10 receiver, but he can’t get open.

Hi DJ. Thanks for the great content!! Often the difference between good players and great players is not their strength and athleticism, but how they think, compete, and prepare. A couple good examples would be Tom Brady and Larry Bird. We are not losing games or not playing to our potential because of talent, but mental mistakes, effort, and focus. I come from another sport, but I think all our athletics could benefit from some effective sports psychology. It is a science applied by many great individual athletes such as in golf and tennis. It is not something coaches would know and is much different from rah, rah, rah. We have strength and conditioning coaches but do we have any sport psychologists working with the team? We need it!!
    Go Hogs!!

Was at the game myself and had a lot of fun! The auburn fans were a great crowd. My takeaways were
    1. Taylen Green is electric and fun to watch. He could be special if he can get better at not telegraphing throws and also getting the ball out quicker.
    2. Idk if it’s the oline not doing their jobs or the protections not being set right but they’ve gotta do better as a unit.
    3. Gotta help the defense out when they’re playing good, getting turnovers, etc.
    4. Kicker makes me nervous and I miss Cam Little
    5. This level of play won’t work against the rest of the sec teams we have left.
    6. We finally closed out a game and I think we have the potential to win more games than I initially thought if we continue to improve. (I predicted 4-8 at the beginning of the season)

Yall made my childhood full of excitement watching Arkansas football, and I just wish we could get back to how it used to be! Still can’t believe how you got into the endzone or gained extra yards on several plays. Thanks for being a beast and laying everything on the line for Arkansas !

    • @4th_and_Five

I would say he is a little bit different. I talked to Jimbo Fisher today and asked him that same question. And he told me he is still intense but over time coaches seem to be more thoughtful with how to get a message across. I think Coach P has done that.

    • @CrypticGoatMilk
      @CrypticGoatMilk 4 дні тому

@@4th_and_FiveI feel like we have young guys that are afraid to be an “athlete” and are afraid to go off instinct from being coached a certain way.. Like you said with the guy shooting the B Gap. Yes you may have a certain assignment, but if something is so obvious some times it’s best to just go off that.. Our guys just gotta figure out when to use that instinct and when not to, and relieve some of that pressure off Taylen so he doesn’t have to run for his life for 3/4 of the game. Taylen looked phenomenal in our spring game throwing dimes, but he was also playing against a defense that has trouble putting pressure on the QB. If we limit the pressure I know he can shine. But if we can’t put pressure on opposing teams a better QB will dice us up all game long, and sadly Arkansas just doesn’t have the depth for that…

Our QB has happy feet and if the throw is longer than 10 yards NOBODY knows where it is going. It was very helpful that Auburn played stupid the entire game. No containment from the Auburn D plus turnovers and penalties. We are glad for the win as it now gives us a sliver of hope that we can get to 6-6.

I like your show... but I think sometimes you like to say things just to fill space and appear knowledgeable. Your analysis of the Brodin catch was just silly, the def player just poked it out at the end.... was just a great defensive play.
You appear to over analyze .... as if your wanting to get noticed for a coaching Job... Just go with the flow.
Let the game come to you... you're pressing!
