Devara movie review Typical Telugu masala movie that's all bhai And one more thing Give me my money back devara team 😭😭😭😭 Full cringe, cringe heroin, mental villain and cringe no logic scenes 😭
Watched last night.. thought the cinematography was outstanding and in my view anirudh score tries to save this music and he helped a very lacklustre story. The screenplay is very average and there was no point to many things. What was the point of the police mafia angle followed by flashback if there was not even a clue to its link to the main plot. I also thought it was drawn out and the dialogue delivery dragged and even unnecessary pauses..repeat 5 action sequences and it offers nothing new. It feels heavily inspired by Baahubali and also a weaker version of Salaar. As a fan of jr NTR he should have been wiser in his script selection..promotions also served to dupe the audience. Lastly Koratala Siva is a very outdated director. Acharya was awful. Bharat Ane Nenu is a very immature screenplay saved by Mahesh Babu's brand and inkling for preachy stories. Puri J, Koratala and Shankar need to step back now. X
thank you for your review. you seem to be in step with other film critics. i would have to shell out $27 USD to see this and it does not sound like it is worth it. imma watch wild robot again that movie was amazing!!!
I Think the Telugu Audience Really Love & Support Star Focused Surface level Movies with more Masala and Unnecessary Songs, this actually makes the industry less creative and they keep making movies that lacks depth to the Characters and real Substance in the Story... I think it's the Telugu Audience that keep Encouraging Tollywood to Make these type of Movies which only works for them..
There have been some good content-oriented/small-scale Telugu films that have done well. For e.g. Committee Kurollu Aay Mathura vadalara 2 35 chinna katha kadhu Maruthi Nagar Subramanyam Saripodhaa Saanivaram Sundaram Master Bhamakalapam 2 Pekamedalu Tillu Square Gaami And two very commercial films flopped quite badly a month ago (Double Ismart and Mr Bachan). So the blame shouldn't entirely be on the audience, but rather the outdated film-makers and producers that still linger around. I suggest you watch some of the smaller Telugu films that don't have the tag of pan India, they tend to be better imho. That being said there are brain dead fans in every industry that support their star no matter what.
Guys I watched this movie, but it has its moments surely not bad as these critics are saying and its my second film watching NTR not a fan, but overall and especially the climax alone is worth watching..
RRR set the bar so high, the next films need a ladder to reach it. Blame the hype, not a curse! This masala action film will easily cross 300 cr, thanks to its fanbase.1:02 Jr. NTR’s machete entry in Devara has the same intense energy as Death’s whistle in Puss in Boots: The Last Wish-mere chance or inspiration?😊😅

to be frank its been a while that a proper telugu comercial movie came into theatres like every hero want to work on big pan indian movies but this movie story is pakka comerical with well done vfx, so as a telugu fan iam very happy but as a pan indian movie its not worth ur time in theatre, ott meh dekho !!! but i felt fricking awesome seeing NTR on screen after soo long ! he is just tooo good with very small substance he was given.
I've noticed a trend in reviews of Telugu cinema. There seems to be a group that consistently gives negative feedback, even for well-received films like RRR, KALKI2898AD, SALAAR, and the latest release, DEVARA. It seems they view Telugu cinema as a threat to Bollywood's dominance. In contrast, they tend to praise other film industries, likely because they don’t see them as competition. Notably, critic Anupama Chopra deleted her review of RRR after the film's global success, as she had given it a negative review. I've also seen some prominent UA-cam channels remove their reviews of RRR following its acclaim.
It's better to ignore Telugu star hero movies tbh. When u can get great movies with smaller heroes like Nani, Sree Vishnu, Adivi Shesh, etc.
