- In this video I demonstrate how to use a product called "Crystal Heat" to clear a tub drain.
This is not an advertisement or an endorsement, this is just my advice based on all of the products that I have used, this is the one the has worked the best for me.

Warning to everybody using this product. Use as directed on bottle. And i mean measure exactly the amount the bottle tells you. Because i learned the hard way. I dump about triple what he poured by accident because i pour it out direct out of bottle instead of measuring. The fumes that resulted from using too much product and too much water create this gas that near burned my nose inhaling it in. Lucky for me i held my breath and ran out of there as fast as i could. It did opened the clog drain but its been two weeks and i still cannot smell anything. Just be careful folks and live another day to unclog another drain.
Yes definitely use the correct amount, and that's also why its very important to cover the drain as soon as you pour in the product..

@@tammycuellar4535 if the clog is from grease this product will make it hot enough to
Melt the grease and go down.. sometimes it takes more than 1 try if the clog is very bad.. if this doesn’t work then their is probably something solid stuck in the drain and the drain should be opened and checked and/or snaked to removed whatever is causing the clog

If you don't plug the overflow (silver cap on the left) the plungers is just blowing air through there!
Covering it with the cup is useless... the fumes will still come out of the overflow drain on the back wall.
True, if the water is standing sometimes I will plunge the overflow and it will blow the clog back
Into the tub then go down a little easier
crystal heat not working! I am disappointed I used this last night in my kitchen zinc, used it last night 3 times, and this morning one again, and still not working, I also used the long tail about 15 feet before I added this crystal heat, and still not working! what happened? does anybody might give me some advice help, plumbers are so expensive
Sorry to say but if it’s not working at all, and you don’t have the experience to open the drains and check them then you should call someone with more experience.. you don’t need a licensed plumber and local handy man will suffice.. post the problem on your local Facebook marketplace and someone will help out..
And be careful that can of burn the finish on your tub or sink never allow that to sit in your tub the way that you are doing
That is true, I just wanted to show that this product can work on the very worst of clogs. Most clogs we have are nowhere near this bad and dissolve pretty quickly. And also give a basic overview of how it works and what to expect, but I do thank you for pointing that out, especially if I didn't mention that in the video.

Yea zero care given to drain. Prob inhaled too much previously
