They fight to speak but NEVER listen. That action is common to Islam. It's so consistent, we can listen to 2 people talking and we can tell who is leaning on Christ and who is leaning on their own understanding. It's very sad to hear them try to reason without the ability. Around min. 1:20:00, he actually had to ask, "What did I say?" because he couldn't control the words coming out of his own mouth enough to remember them. They simply lack the ability to control themselves. Good news... it's all solvable with Christ. I pray they find Him so they can find true peace and dignity. 2 Timothy 1:7 NIV -- For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.

When Jesus said he is the son of God the Jews understood what he meant. Jesus was saying that he was God. He did not have to say verbatim “I am God” because he was talking the language of the people. It’s like if I asked somebody “what’s up”? In our language and culture you know that I am saying, how are you. It’s the same thing with the Jews at that time and in their culture and their context: To say you were the son of God the way that Jesus was saying it, he was saying “I am God”
Of course, he backed it up by stating he was fulfilling the prophecies of the Old Testament, the miracles he did, dying and being raised again.
