  • Scubapro does not make spring straps for these fins. Innovative Scuba was manufacturing straps for the Twin Jet fins, but Scubapro file a law suit, prohibiting their manufacturing. And the Twin Jet fins are proprietary. So, there are no longer any spring straps available for them.
Will a suggestion from a staff member of Berry's Dive Center in Northfield, IL, I decided to come up with a resolution to this problem. I hope this video helps you out.

This explains why I couldn't find them! I did some checking and apparently the strategy behind this is: Scubapro wants to phase out the TwinJet line in favor of the newer Twinjet (and Jet) PRO series. These are more expensive fins and ScubaPro does make and sell spring straps for the Pro series. Great way to take care of customers - two thumbs up. Thanks for the modification idea as I have wondered if something like this would work!

Found a solution! For the ppl having trouble unscrewing it, I got two vice grip wrenches and twisted. Has enough grip to unscrew one of the screws.

That was the problem I had. I had the regular fin straps on them and although they were in perfect condition, I hate the standard fin straps on any fin. I always put spring fin straps on all of my fins. But these Scuba Pro string straps are not made anymore, so I had to come up with a solution. Best Idea I could come up with.

What size strap did you use for your fins? I have Twin Jet medium size. Thanks.

isn't any way to remove the pin instead of cut it off

You run the risk of breaking the buckle. Then its game over if that happens. The plastic pin use useless, unless you plan on changing it back to original. With the heavy spring tension, that plastic will eventually break. It will happen while you are out on a dive and you will be without fins and have to borrow some elses. Do yourself a favor and cut the plastic pin out and replace it with the aluminum one as shown in the video. Don't ask me how I know. Lol

@@buli, use a scew driver on both sides. Twist opposite directions. The screw will come out of the post. If you use any gripping tools of vise, it will damage the ends and cause jagged edges. They come undone very easy
